Idaho Republican Insists He Did No Wrong, And, Is Not Gay; Ethics Panel Asked To Investigate

- All future press conferences with Senator Larry Craig will be conducted from behind the door of a bathroom stall, and in morse code.

- Let me see if I got this right...a US Senator gets arrested, goes to trial, pleads guilty...and yet it took the media 4 weeks to find this out??? I mean, everytime Paris Hilton takes a ***, we know all about it before she''s done wiping...
I think the real story here is why the news media, who''s job is to ''inform the public'' could totally miss the public record of the arrest, trial, AND guilty plea until WAY after the fact. The arrest happened in Minn, so it isn''t as if this guy wields supreme power to suppress this story or anything... - Reply to this comment

Actually, it''s both. Although I find it amusing you consider the ability to govern not ''very impressive.'' But that certainly explain''s what appeal the GOP has for you.
The GOP got smoked last November. I don''t see any reason why next year will be any different. It makes me glad to think that loonies on the far right will continue to be marginalized, and soon many of you will just be considered harmless cranks. - Reply to this comment
- the religious right is saying the 2006 results were because the Repubs moved away from their extreme right wing nut job constituents. Hannity, Limbaugh and Coulter are all saying 2008 will be a return to the traditional conservative republican values (in their minds) of family values, anti-gay, anti-abortion, flag-waving apple pie baking, etc.

Yet, they are throwing their "family values" into the wind and nominating a man like Giuliani. They are doing exactly what the Dems did in 2004 when they elected Kerry not as the best candidate but as having the best chance of winning the election. It didn''t work for the Dems and it won''t work for the Cons. - Reply to this comment
- All I''ve heard is the RIGHTies claiming they''re superior to everyone else because they have (republican) "GOD" by their side and after all that bullsh!t you hear about them trying to score in a bathroom.
No wonder you keep repeating talking points, there''s nothing else to point out. Everyone in the republican party are closet ***. - Reply to this comment

Unless you want a tirad of creationism idiocies passing for scientific theory, don''t ask!!
By the way, has anyone here heard about the Intelligent Falling theory?? It is the new theory that goes along with Intelligent Design to explain gavity.
Here is a link to explain it all! Now have your questions about the scientific holes in the theory of gavity explained!! Including quotes from the Bible to back it up!!

- I''''ll think of more, but that - for many people - should be enough to keep in the GOP numbers in congress where they are: in the MINORITY.

I don''''t watch Fox. I watch Diane Feinstein and her husband who made millions off military contracts until it was pointed out to her that it was a conflict of interset. I watch Barbara Boxer who thinks partial birth abortion (removing a near full term fetus from the womb by delivering it breach, and leaving the head in the womb while some butcher punctures a hole in the back of it''''s neck and vacuums out its brain)is a God-given woman''''s right. So don''''t sit there and give me your lefty mantra *********. Clean up your own house first before you claim any sort of moral superiority.
