The Reverend Jessie Jackson and other Democratic Reverends can blast Republicans all day long and even run for office, but no one threatens them with the IRS. But let someone who is just a lowly supporter of a Republican pray for their success and the defeat of a Democrat, and they threaten to let the legal wolf pack lose on them.

I don''t get why ministers are exempt from taxes anyway. It is a profession they have chosen, whether or not it is referred to as a "calling". People are "called" to be teachers, nurses, doctors, and business people, do they get exempt from paying taxes? Why should a minister or pastor, or Priest? This has to stop.

Actually it is the same with the Indians, they get welfare too and never have to pay taxes. THAT also has to stop!!

They''''re biblical lawyers who have memorised the words of the bible, but never have and never will understand the meaning.

Actually, many of the so called "Christians" do not know the bible well at all. They are victims of what their pastors and religious leaders tell them. Had they actually studied the book they proclaim is the guideline for their lives--actually studied it for themselves--they would have realized the contradictions in some of their political and church leaders and what Christ said.

Face it, Churches used to keep people ignorant and illiterate of scripture and other writings to control them, now most people know how to read, but they are so lazy--that they remain ignorant of scripture and other data and thus--are still easily manipulated and controlled. They eat what is shoveled then ****** it out--no matter how inane, blasphemous or ridiculous, they are no closer to God than other heathens, but the shame of it is that they should be.

It''s the USA, if you want to be stupid, stupid, it''s your constitutional right. You''re infringing on the rights of Durbin, Clinton, Reid. You can lie too like you are doing, just don''t squeal like a stuck pig when you get caught.

LOL!!! Why do we go after religious fanatics in other countries when we have them right here in our own backyard? Isn%u2019t this like the third time in recent history that an alleged speaker of an alleged god that is alleged to be a kind, benevolent, loving, turn-the-other-cheek kinda guy has called for the death of an American? Hmmmm%u2026me thinks these are terrorist threats akin to the Islamic radicals that are calling for the death of Americans, no? Arrest them....oh, and make them pay taxes and leave the rest of us alone for a few years....

What is the difference between this minister and Ahmajadeen or OBL?

Posted by radiob at 09:45 PM : Aug 18, 2007

Not a single thing and it applies to people like Pat Robertson, Bob Jones, Oral Roberts, George W, Bush and singingrick too. All praying for god to kill other''s for them because they believe differently then they do, so they must be evil. They''re all sickening. A pox on all of their houses.

Well, saying something, and doing something are two different things. Ya should be able to say stuff. Saying stuff, even kkkkrappy stuff, is still better than fists and guns. Thats why the founding fathers gave us free speech, see. Because they knew that niceties and upper classmenships make a lot of harmless things illegal. And what could be more harmless than a word?

Well I say: Phooey on them. Ya suppress anybody, ya suppress everybody. And thats we should always watch our politicians. In the many things and the many ways that get and make them mad. Because that guy is going to be the most powerful *************** on the face of this earth, see. So its importnik! Its very very importnik.. what he says, and what he does. Because the things he says and does here, are gonna be 10x times that when he''s in his underwear in the whitehouse.

I have been a minister for thirty-five years. I am appalled that a minister of the gospel would take that attitude. That is certainly not in the Spirit of the Lord. This is the admonition of Jesus: "But I tell you: Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, that you may be sons of your Father in heaven. (Matthew 5:44-45a) We may disagree with someone, but we are still to love them, and pray for them, not call down judgement upon them.

It is true that there are many who are attacking the church. It is my personal opinion that anyone in this United States has the right to voice his/her opinion and support whoever they prefer and encourage others to do so regardless of their job or postion. Minister, soldier, teacher, blue collar worker have the guaranteed right by the Constitution to say absolutely anything they want to, except to threaten the life of the President of the United States. (That will get you in hot water with the Secret Service.) So I may not agree with The Americans United for Separation of Church and State, but I certainly cannot, in the Spirit of the Lord, wish any ill upon them. I pray for their safety and that somehow, they could be persuaded of the error of their ways. And if they cannot be so persuaded, so be it. My love and prayers for them would not change. That is the Christian Way.

He was right ''give and expect nothing in return, if someone asks you to go one mile, go two, return good for evil, etc.

selflessness, there could be peace.
