Likewise. Don't however assume that I am onesided. I'm not happy with either side. I have been complaining about term limits for so long, I'm tired of talking about it. No one on the left is talking about bombing Mecca, that's Tancredo.

We know precisely who attacked the WTC, the USS Cole,and the embassies in Africa-Al Quaeda. They are in the mountains of NW Pakastan & NE Afghanistan.
There's nothing macho about attacking but if we know where their camps are and we know they want to attack us again, why should we sit back?

At the same time, If America is attacked again and we have no intelligence that the attackers are in Mecca, how do we justify attacking the Holiest site for all Muslims?

Taking out the camps and leadership of those who've already attacked us and have the intention to do so again is a defensive action. Striking out blindly at innocent people's Holy site is an offensive action that would make Al Quaeda's day.

again, The War on terror is real, but it isn't a War against Islam-that's what Al Quaeda is telling its recruits but it's not true unless we're foolish enough to make it true.

I wasn't trying to defend Clinton, I was trying to balance the partisonship. I'm not trying to get a response from you, I'm trying to respond to a thought you expressed.

I agree with what you said about Clinton, I'm just saying that the Republicans in Washington(not the ones in middle America like you) played politics on the matter for the reason I stated.

I don't deny that the democrats in Washington(not the ones in middle America like me) are milking the Gonzales situation for all it's worth, too.

That's not to say that there aren't legitimate public concerns involved in both situations. I can see elements of partisonship on both sides, you only seem to see it one way and I think that's short-sighted.

Where was this attitude toward intel back on March 2003? My first thought was the bogus Gulf of Tonkin Resolution when Bush started in on the Saddam's WMDs.
