I would love to see both parties DISSOLVED, because it isnt working, hasnt worked in a long time. I dont care if the person is blue or red, both parties beleifs are vast, far and wide, just a cover up for everything they dont want the public to know. Just get some REAL people in there, that live like the majority, that have had to WORK for a living, not stepped into it on the family golden rope, some one who truly understands what it MEANS to be an American, not all these losers that grew up sucking from the golden bottles of Corp America. Lets get some people in there that have struggled and actually done something for themselves, those who have been paying for years for all there stupid professional and personal decisions, while barely making ends meet, and trying to raise kids that will never end up on the front page of the enquirer. We need a real change, and definitly not another 8 years with Billary, so we can be laughed at worldwide, for electing that couple into the Big House again.

There is no end to giving away goods and services to the poor. The condition of being poor, while sometimes no one's fault, is commonly the end result of no education, no skill development, drugs, disease, bad decisions, low IQ, alcohol, mental infirmity, or just plain being an incompetent, jumping from job to job, divorcing and making no commitments. These attributes, while not applicable to everyone, are the reason so many feel disgust at throwing large amounts of money into benefits for these people. They, the poor, get what they deserve. If too much is available to the poor on a hand out basis, there is no incentive to work harder or smarter, or to reduce family size, etc. Then the condition of poor recycles. I certainly don't want any more beneftis going to children of illegal aliens. I understand that citizenship is no requirement in this plan. Just another sleazy attempt go against the will of the American citizen. How quickly they forget the failed "shamnesty" plan. Bush has to veto this farcical attempt to give away more of America to the undeserving.

Yeah, especially families that have a combined income of $40,000 and on up. This is Nanny Care and the prelude to socialized medicine. I suppose you don't mind a family with an income of $100,000 getting insurance? The poor you so fondly advocate will only get shafted some more. But you have all the facts right at your finger tips right ranger? NANNY CARE. THE WHOLE COUNTRY NEEDS IT.

Oh - I see you point. "The health care system in this country is broken and leaves 47 million Americans without coverage. So let's leave it alone and see if it fixes itself." Yeah real smart on your part.

And no I don't care if people making $100,000 and up have the EXACT SAME access to health care as the poor people in this country. Nice attitude on your part: "People making $40,000 and up should have access to health care, while everyone else can die." You're obviously a republican.

Guys,

I think Lars2008 (not our usual beloved Lars) is just yanking our chains :) Although the real Lars probably agrees with him.

Lars2008,

You need to wake up. Physician heal thyself, we need to attend to our own children before building golf courses and embassies in Baghdad.

===Bush still hasn't sent you to Gitmo?===

No, Bush hasn't sent hungry1968 or any one of us to Gitmo. Yet. But here's the difference. Before Bush, no one could send you to a Gitmo-type place. But now? They can. And there's not one bit of legal recourse any of us would have. The black hole of the American Concentration Camp has arrived with Bush. I'm glad you have such faith in our politicians' integrity that you would hand over that kind of power and trust them to do the right thing.
