What do you expect from Cheney? All these guys are all in one racket. Each of them scratches the other's back. Did any body expect Cheney to contradict the opinion of Bush and others in the administration? Let this fox have his chickens, and one day he will wallow in his own puke, and swallow it too. I don't even know why we give the time of day to people that eschew lies, power to kill everything that comes in its way, and also to those who we know are evil. Has anything 'good' come out of Cheney's mouth? Except contempt for the law and anybody that opposes his ideas? Let us not fool ourselves to the idea that this administration is doing its best for this, OUR country. On the contrary! All that they are doing and want from us is power to do anything that they think is right, not what is right. Good heavens, we only have a few more months to put up with these people. God forbid another team like this to ruin our whole image in the whole wide world. America, the USA, has never been hated around the world like today, and it because of people like Bush, Cheney, and others that think like them, and think that the US belongs to them and that they can do anything they please with it. You don't have to be a leftist to be disgusted by Cheney. The term leftist, much like the term Nazi, is so loosely thrown around on these posts that the meaning is totally in the eye of the slanderer.

I'm a liberal but not a leftist, at least not by my understanding of the term. I used to be a Republican and if I still was I would be just as disgusted by what this would-be junta is trying to do to the country and what it's doing to the future of the Republican party.

The only question here is when does impeachment proceedings start. There's only one way to get the Justice Department of this country back to where it belongs and everyone knows that, removing the FOOL who heads it now. Since the Fuhrer won't do it, then our congress must. REAL Republican's know as well as Democrats that Gonzo and Bush are hurting everyone.

I agree with you 100% - we need to get this idiot out of there ASAP. The only problem is Bush is just going to appoint another idiot to replace him. Let's take a quick look at some of his more famous nominees:
Gonzalez to replace Ashcroft
Harriet Meiers to the supreme court (even though she was NEVER a judge, and hadn't been in a courtroom in OVER 19 YEARS!!)
And of course, the director of the Quarter Horse Association to head FEMA. (Heck of a job Brownie!!)

The replacement for Gonzalez will just be another non-qualified, brown nosed, bush lackey that won't serve America as much as they'll serve Bush personally.

Come on January 2009!

Man I just hope these people actually leave office when they are supposed to, and the people who come after have the guts to undo what they have done.

This administration makes me nervous. There have been other administrations I didn't like, but after this one Nixon looks really good to me. In retrospect even Warren G. Harding looks better to me. I disliked a lot of what Reagan did... he looks good to me. I could go on....

After this administration I'm going to be very comfortable cutting a lot of slack when future administrations do things I don't agree with. I was so mad at Clinton for lying about Monica...

This last 6 years sure puts things in perspective. We didn't know how good we had it going all the way back to Eisenhower. Talk about a lesson.

Yes. An endorsement from Cheney will go a long way in validating that Gonzales is also a monster and not to be trusted. To be liked by Cheney, guess it is sort of like being the favorite whorrrrre of Hanibal Lector. the women just had to hope that his tastes did not go to slicing and dicing THEM while in his service--as well as killing and eating his other victims.

Of course Cheney would be a big fan of his - they are both total and complete f#$king a$$holes.
