- Every serious professional knows friends and business don't mix. When it's time to take adverse action against a friend, the friendship clouds your judgment and prevents you from taking care of business and taking the needed adverse action. Too bad President Bush skipped that class too!

- Gonzales is 100000000000000000000000 times better than Janet Reno, or Webster Hubble who was idicted as he was acting Attorney General! Chenney is right he is a good Attorney General, the demoncraps forget what Janet Reno the least qualified person in the world who just about botched every investigation, and there where many was Twin towers WACO Ruby Ridge Okalohoma Bombing, and flight 800, all where completely run by Clinton, Reno was a stooge with a sorted past, including a DUI in DC with a hooker and something about a lesbian call girl ring and Aligator wresling!
I ask all Demoncraps why is it ok to fire 93 US attorneys by Clinton including the one who was about indict Both CLINTONS, is it because he was a commy lib so it's ok? Gonzales has done nothing wrong except allowing himself to testify in front of the worst congress since this country began on a non crime! If there is a crime don't Let LEAKY LEAHY be part this *** he himself should be in JAIL for leaking military plans to the NYT in 1984! DEMONRATS are thye most corrupt anti American party this country has ever seen they are a disgrace as is all liberal media including CBS who today had bad earnings!HOORAY! To bad I hope all liberal media outlets loose so much money they disapear, most of them are, so America is winning! Just remember all Demonrats suffer from BUSH Derangement Syndrome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! - Reply to this comment

George W Bush, and members of PNAC who include Scooter Libby, Richard Cheney, Donald Rumsfeld, Paul Wolfowitz, Bichard Perle, William Kristol, Jebb Bush, Dan Quayle, and John Bolton should all be hauled to the International Courts in the Hague, Netherlands and be charged with War Crimes for their illegal War in Iraq.
If they are convicted and sentenced to hang, hang them all as they are no better than the Nazi War Criminals that were hung at Nuremberg in 1946.

- Bush Sr. could have smashed Saddam before he had another 10 years to recoup. You know that. It would have been great for the Iraqi people too.

- Contained??? haha. By the way, I didn't question your military time. You did mine. Does it make you less of coward serving longer? Or because of your age? Pathletic. Second, I never disagreed with Clinton doing something about that. I was making the point that the situation then and in Iraq with Saddam was almost the same. Saddam tried genocide too. Your just mad The Pres and VP are Republicans. If Clinton was in Iraq, there would be no debate.

- By the way D-Dub6 Clinton DID handle Iraq - HE KEPT IT CONTAINED. and by all subsequent findings (like NO WMDS) did a VERY EFFECTIVE JOB.

- mudrose,
Clinton had to go to war with the Navy he had. Reagan & Bush's defense contractors gave us the tomahawk guidance systems, so it was their aim that was off. - Reply to this comment
- D-Dub6 Gee Serbia was less than 4 years ago and Clinton was President?? DON'T THINK SO.
20 AF years trumps 4 and guess what you were a baby when that was going down.
Hmm 1 American death versus what is it over 3600 Americans and counting?
Are you a Milsovic fan?
Sorry the GENOCIDE that was going on in that country although NOT as bad as what seems to be stirred up by Bush in Iraq - needed to be STOPPED and WE STOPPED IT!
Without sacrificing Americans needlessly and without building PERMANENT BASES and without BANKRUPTING THIS NATION.
Now, they're advertising for tourists. HOW LONG will it be before Iraq rebuilds? - Reply to this comment
- This is what we get when the President is SELECTED rather than elected then VOTE RIGGING and a "WAG THE DOG" War is used to manipulate the uninformed. Sheesh INSURE THE INTEGRITY OF THE VOTE next time.
REAL republicans need to RESCUE their party from the clutches of extremist neoCONS.
I suspect there probably WILL be a recess resignation and appointment. It would be the logical scam to pull. Gonzales gets off and the spotlight drops from him as all eyes turn to the NEW AG and whether or not he/she will pull the same Constitution ignoring stunts. - Reply to this comment
- Also, two missiles can't really be considered "raining bombs like cats and dogs".

Did you already forget all the bombs he sent over to Serbia? Cats and dogs. CBS dropped that story quick though, thats why you had to ask, "What did Clinton bomb? And since I just completed my 4 years in the USAF, based in Ramstein, I think you can eat crow.
If this was Clinton in Iraq, you would be all for it, because the cause is good. Your playing politics. Grow up! - Reply to this comment
- Is this the death kiss or what, a Cheney endorsement means it is definitively time to go? An Attorney General that Cheney would hail would be working against the interest of the American people. My guess is like Secretary Gates the next AG will not be a Cheney Addison puppet.

- Cheney is the puppeteer pulling George's strings, and this explains why George is 100% behind Gonzales.

- And what are you talking about, "When Clinton rained bombs over East like cats and dogs"? That doesn't make sense - what did Clinton bomb?

The Chinese Embassy. Seems his aim is off most of the time and when it isn't, well, if it walks like a duck and talks like a duck, hahahahaha.

The Chinese embassy was mistaken for a different building by one of our Air Force pilots which then hit it with two missiles. You might think that criticizing the members of our military is funny, but most of us don't. Maybe if you weren't such a coward and served your country it would be different. I doubt it.

- CBS, if you do not think you are political and to the left, look at the headline of this article and tell me its not anti-Cheney.
