memekiller,

Re: "If the evidence contradicts AG's testimony, well, then, you just need to find better evidence. Like I said. If the man says it, it's true."

Thank you for the clarification.

Please just kindly keep your mitts off of my meme!

From ImpeachBush.org
"Thousands of Americans from around the country will join together to demand the impeachment of George W. Bush and Dick Cheney and insist on the immediate end to the war in Iraq. September 15th is the date General David Petraeus is mandated to make a report to Congress on the progress of the so-called surge. The eyes of the national and international media will be focused on Washington DC at that time. In the coming weeks we will be taking out newspaper ads, producing 500,000 leaflets, flyers, and stickers, and setting up outreach committees for the September 15th March in Washington all over the country."

Look, everything AG says is true. When he said the gang of eight didn't discuss the terrorist surveillance program, then they didn't. Now that documents show that was discussed, AG has said that they did discuss the program, so they did. Where am I losing you guys.

If the evidence contradicts AG's testimony, well, then, you just need to find better evidence. Like I said. If the man says it, it's true.

Thank you.

I am an independent, fiscally conservative, socially middle of the road. I usually vote for "conservative" candidates.

For the foreseeable future, I will not vote for, nor support, Republicans (or any other politician) unless they have repudiated the Bush administration, not only by their words, but by their deeds.

If any president deserves to face criminal charges for his conduct in office, it is George Bush (Cheney, et al). And, unlike Nixon, he should not be pardoned. Nixon's crimes were petty compared to Bush's (apparent) crimes.

freckster,

Re: "March on Washington DC September 15"

I am aware of a callout for a "general strike" on September 11, 2007. I don't know how well organized it is.

Is there an organized effort for a September 15 demonstration in Washington, D.C.?

This seems like a good opportumtiy. If the Democrats in Congress would stand up on their hind legs and charge Gonzo with purjury, how could he block it, if he was the subject of the charge?

March on Washington DC September 15. Let your outrage be seen and heard. Obviously writing faithfully to my Mel Martinez, Bill Nelson and Vern Buchanan ain't cutting it for me. Seize our country back from this corrupt administration and restore our constitution. These guys gotta go.

tuckerndfw,

I've never read a better comment on these boards than yours. This is so simple...but Republicans can't see it.

any one really surprised that the Bush administration has been caught lying (again)?

That is the only thing his team is consistently good at!

NOTE TO BOATDOCSTER: If you can catch someone in a lie--they are NOT good at it. What the Bush administration is good at, is having soo much ******* on Congress in general and the Republicans in particular, that no matter what he and his team do or say, everyone just grits their teeth and endures it instead of impeaching him , cheney, Gonzo and the rest.

We should rise up just like we did about illegal immigration and the war--and tell our Congress that either they enforce the rule of law and check this Presidency or they ALL will go. This is getting so slimy and sickening that the next President will truly be a dictator if this is a precedent.
