Newsflash: Recently discovered George Patton speeck was discovered and the subject ironically is the current war in Iraq. Patton mentions Senator Reid, and those who want to pull out of Iraq. See it on MarkLevin.com. Incredible. Likely a bombshell that every democrat is going to be very upset about.

lilwille:

I would vote Libertarian before I would vote for any two party corporate-owned slimey politician. But I would vote Green Party before I would vote Libertarian.

The reason is that while both Libertarians and Greens are for decentralized power (stop the insane Oil wars and cut the wasteful the $600 BILLION annual War Budget). However the Libertarians are way too hands-off when it comes to restraining corporate power. This is the number one, root cause problem our nations faces.

The wealth of the extreme rich is skyrocketing and with wealth comes power. We citizens MUST fight to take back our democracy from the corporate media and the corporate-owned politicians. Libertarians are just too reluctant to make government work FOR average citizens to CONTROL the excess influence the corporate power holds over us.

VOTE Green Party

Americans now are all well aware of Bush%u2019s problem with speech and thought-train control. Those who knew him well, were aware of it before he campaigned for president.

Can you imagine what would have happened to him and his candidacy if the debates with Gore in 2000 and Kerry in 2004 had been true debates with unscripted questions?

Bush%u2019s team (read Cheney) would not agree to participate unless all questions were agreed upon in advance and presented in a particular order.

This not only allowed him to have question and answer rehearsals, but also allowed him to have the answers written down and in front of him at his podium.

I know the other candidates also had the same options but considering what we now know about Bush%u2019s speech problems and personal IQ does anyone honestly believe he would have survived those debates if he had been forced to give spontaneous answers to unexpected questions? And just imagine how much better off we would all be now with no Iraq fiasco to worry about

bagdadsphere:

Do your homework. Are you the only one left in America that doesn't realize that Cheney/Bush deliberately LIED us into this needless horrific War on Iraq? Sad fact: Saddam told the truth about WMDs and let the UN inspectors in. BUSH LIED about the WMDs and Lied when claiming Saddam violated the UN resolution. fake WMDs, fake Niger uranium, fake Al Qaida links, fake "intelligence sources" like Chalabi and curveball, fake color coded terror alerts...

I guess it doesn't bother you that Bush acts like Hitler breaking all international law, Geneva Convention, illegally wiretaps your internet emails, shreds the constitution.

I can see how the Germans were so easily fooled by Hitler since the same thing is happening right here in the USA -- people mindlessly seeking authoritarian security and willing to surrender to their fureur - taking everything said as the unquestioned truth, labeling those who disagree as "unpatriotic", surrendering their freedom...

You think you are being patriotic as a 'tough-guy' warrior, ready to follow your draft-dodging chickenhawk leaders into war (while sitting there on your couch).

But in truth, you are a pathetic American, an anti-citizen who is too lazy to seek the truth. If you love America and were at all informed you would want to impeach the Bush-Cheney thugs and throw them in jail where they belong.

baghdadshere By all means join up and go fight this war. You are just what Bush needs to fill the roles and make it possible to keep fighting in Iraq. It is true believers like you that are perfect. So go right away and join the military. Don't worry about you age, they will take you up to 40. Also they will make exceptions for older men and women who really want to join. Get busy - Iraq needs you.

The "debate" was just more brainwashing for the liberal masses.

It revealed nothing and means nothing; except that the Democrat Party candidates are complicit in attempting to brainwash Americans.

Republicans are the me me me people. Democrats are the people who care about other people. Republicans are the ones who always want to look away from what this administration is doing to us. We have one party people who only want one party people to work for them and do their bidding. Democrats are working to end a war. Bush is busy making sure the war never ends. All that war profiteering and making sure the bush people clean up is doing just fine in their opinion. The result on us is that there will have to be a draft to keep this illegal war going and going.

Oh I don't know, I kind of liked what Kucinich had to say (especially about trade). Gravel wasn't too bad either except his plan to switch to a national sales tax.

Members Rebelling From Al Qaeda in Iraq

Monday, July 23, 2007

Fed up with being part of a group that cuts off a person%u2019s face with piano wire to teach others a lesson, dozens of low-level members of Al Qaeda in Iraq are daring to become informants for the U.S. military in a hostile Baghdad neighborhood.

Enough is enough! Our Iraqi People have been through Hell!

Is there somebody in the forum that can shed some light on the following statements made by the Democratic Candidates???? I'm an old senile senior and confused!

Sen.Obama replied that when I'm catching a cab in Manhattan "I'm giving my credentials". Does that mean he spends all of his time in Washington catching cabs in Manhattan? Doen't he have some staff pick him up and take him to when he's going?? I know - Manhattan??? Right!

Sen.Clinton took 3 times to reply to Sen.Biden about sending troops to Rwanda. "Our ground troops are all precariously overextended in Iraq." so forget about Rwanda! Please don't call me Hiliary Rodham or a Liberal? I prefer the word progressive? Nice name for an Insurance Company! What do you make of that.

I don't know about you folks but this doesn't make me feel all that comfortable riding around in my Model T in Manhattan.

According to the article, Edwards insists that he is feminine enough and is the best advocate for women. He may be full of bold ideas among other t....

make"

SharnCedar:

Don't give up on your fellow citizens yet. They are just inundated by our corporate media who have turned us from a nation of citizens into a nation of pure self centered consumers.

Keep in mind though that the "questions" were "screened" by the corporate media who will ensure that the "questions" have maximum entertainment value and fluff content. Democrats are never challenged about the tax cuts for the filthy rich that they helped pass, or the corporate welfare, or the corporate lobbyists that fund their campaigns.

They will not even be asked if they favor an eventual COMPLETE withdrawal from Iraq, so they can sound like they want to "withdraw the troops" but read the fine print.

I have justone question to democrats hopeful:
WHY ARE YOU SO DESPERATE TO GET OUR TROOPS OUT OF IRAQ?.........
Is because dems dont have the stomach for war?
Is because dems are so afraid of terrorists that they wanna run away?
Is because dems like to protect terrorists?
If we get out of Iraq and Iran take control of middle east i have one more question for the democrats:
WHERE YOURE GONNA GET THE OIL YOU NEED TO FUEL YOUR LIMOUSINE AND TO MAINTAIN THE ROADS? FROM HUGO CHAVES?

SharnCedar - do you seriously believe it is only 'democrats' on YouTube asking questions? If the numbers are right close to 1/3 of Americans are not democrats or republicans. Welcome to 2007 - where not everybody is either a democrat or a republican! ANd many of them are idiots too - nobody ever said the republicans or democrats held the 'license' on being stupid!

And from these wonderful "debates" did anyone gather any definitve plans by any candiate on any subject or more sound bites? It does not matter that these were the "democrat" candiates instead of "republican" candiates as neither will provide detailed plans on any of their proposals. None of the candiates on either party are representives of the partys vision for America, instead they are media creations designed to sale. Get the big money out of politics and bring back the Rooselvelts and Eisenhowers of the partys when politicians still had dignity and were self made.

Hillary Clinton is NO Progressive. She is the most corporate-owned spineless two-faced Democrat in the field of corporate-owned spineless two-faced Democrats - Kucinich and Gravel being somewhat of the exceptions.

All we get from the two major parties are lies and legislation written by the corporate lobbyists. Bush LIED us into Iraq and the Democrats are lying about getting us out.

Hillary wants permanent US bases and an Iraqi Oil Law that gives US corporations the control and profits from the Iraqi Oil -- just like most of the other Republicrats.

If Hillary is nominated I vote Green Party or some other independent. I

I was watching CNN and just saw a pretentious little s-l-u-t ask her funny question about Starbucks, Starbucks coffee, OMG is this what we will become. OMG, what an impudent, ignorant little worthless s-l-u-t, a little consumer without intellect or morals. And that's who will decide our next president. OMG, we are indeed doomed.

I have again underestimated the sheer stupidity, the animal stupidity, the moronic unintelligence and lack of curiosity or basic morals or values or wisdom, of this American "people". Hillary is a winner compared to these YouTube Democrats, that's an extreme statement, I do believe that Satan Clinton herself is BETTER than what they deserve, OMG my poor nation.
