What questions can they ask the republican debaters I will be interested to compare what is asked of them to what they asked the democrats and the whole format lets see how they do it.Why do the democrats always have to go first?

I enjoyed the format and the humor. Hillary won hands down. But enough already they have their stump speeches and their not moving from them. The fringe candidates are tiresome and fanciful. Cnn coverage afterwards was pitiful is it possible they have gotten worse? I ll watch the RNC debate just to see how the candidates interact on the format but otherwise nothing more to hear.

Every time Bush is in trouble he releases a classified document wonder what he will let in and what is deleted. I thought the you-tube debate was good but honestly they have so many running they are interrupted over and over before they can finish there answers. Either have two debates and split them up or give them more time to answer. How can anyone answer the questions of today in just one minute.I think the top 3 did well.I wish they could go to this cbs comment page and get some of you guys questions that would pick it up I betcha.

menofoz, the reason why immigration has not been asked is because the real problem is Iraq once that is taken care of then the country can move on to the next big issue. You can not complete one thing then how can you complete more than one. For far too long congress just did what they were told now they are driving and I will wait and see if they drive off a cliff or if they steer away from it. Either way 6 months is not enough time to complete anything. We gave the GOP 12 years and they took us straight off the cliff so we can see how the Dems will do.

All of these democratic candidates are rabid anti-gun nuts.
They wouldn't think twice about banning guns and ignoring their oath of office.
Politicians and other dangerous criminals will always prefer unarmed victims.

"Hillary stole every last piece of furniture when Bill left the White House. Haven't you been paying attention?"

This is a lie fabricated by a notorious feminist enemy of the Clintons: Lisa Myers of NBC.

To show her solidarity with Juanita Broaddrick, she created some innuendo that was gladly believed by people like you.

There is no evidence anywhere but fundamentalist right wing websites that this ever occurred.

Even NBC has abandoned it.

Healthcare is a good issue. Especially since we've spent so much money on Iraq. If you can give all that money away for something like that, why can't you give your own people healthcare?

Education is a bad issue, imo. Always subjecting public schools to the topsy turvy world of politicians is a recipe for confusion. Better if it were more solid and stable. And all those people going to private school, thats a thing of choice. Kind of a running away from the volatility of politics.

And I didn't like the way they jumped on that guy with the big gun, automatically calling him crazy. Democrats shouldn't be amateur psychologists.

I wouldn't go so far as to say 9/11 was a inside job. I think that what happened to Clinton got to a lot of people in the wrong way. And people feel like they're getting even somehow. And if it weren't for 9/11, Bush's presidency would have been a lot different. So those people talking about the planning of Iraq earlier on are crazy, if you ask me.

They're relying too much on a lack of trust to win their authority. And its foney.

baghdadshere,

The reasons for invasion given by Bush had nothing whatsoever to do with oil, Bush said "to disarm Iraq" {they weren't armed)"to free its people" (by killing, kidnapping, and torturing all who disagree with Bush bombing their neighborhoods)"and to protect the world from grave danger" (from an Iraq that had no WMDs, which were the grave danger Bush was lying about), so since when did this officially become an oil war?

There is no legal position in any body of law anywhere in the world that holds as legal an invasion of a sovereign state for the purpose of taking that state's natural resources.

So, since Bush lied about the WMDs, his reasons for invasion are based on false pretexts, he has committed acts of treason. If, as you posit it is now really an oil war, then Bush is no different than Saddam when he invaded Kuwait, and has committed war crimes and crimes against humanity, as defined by international law and the Geneva Convention.

Apparently the journalist who wrote this piece did not watch the same debate that I did because verbatim their quotes are not fully within context. Leave it to the corporate media to be forever after Democrats' backsides. Go figure. - Kissa Ma Arse

Why has Illegal Immigration not been a question asked during the Democratic debates?

It seems like since that lousy reform bill was squashed it%u2019s not even up for discussion with the Democrats.

Groups like Al Quaker have to have big time assistance from organizations with access to information, arms, bombs and funds to pull off such large scale events the low level grunts do the dirty work like suicide bombings and other insane acts but they don%u2019t get the direction on their own.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Al-Qaeda
There have been several accusations[94] of _ _ _ complicity in Al Qaeda attacks, but the Western agents are usually not labeled as Al Qaeda members[not in citation given].

The number of individuals belonging to the organization is also unknown. According to the controversial BBC documentary The Power of Nightmares, al-Qaeda is so weakly linked together that it is hard to say it exists apart from Osama bin Laden and a small clique of close associates. The lack of any significant numbers of convicted al-Qaeda members despite a large number of arrests on terrorism charges is cited by the documentary as a reason to doubt whether a widespread entity that meets the description of al-Qaeda exists at all. Therefore the extent and nature of al-Qaeda remains a topic of dispute.[95]

Its rank and file has been described as changing from being "predominantly Arab," in its first years of operation, to "largely Pakistani," as of 2007.[96] It has been estimated that 62% of al-Qaeda members have university education, dispelling the notion that poverty or ignorance were the driving force behind the group.[97]

baghdadshere,,,, Oil from Chavez ?? Why not ?? Bush has sold our country out to Communist China, Sunni UAE & any other bidder --- It would be a great example of Republican Trade & Foreign Policies biting them in the rear.

Ohhh..I see that the debate must be making the neo-cons nervous. They sent in their paid posters to start calling everyone traitor and cowards if they don't support this fiasco that Bush created in Iraq. Very good sign that the Democrats are winning. Heck, the Republicans don't even have a candidate yet. (But they aren't worried) It's early.
