I'm happy that the President did so well and is fully recovered. But, boy will he be mad if he tries to read or write something and finds out they took out a portion of his brain. Yikes, look out Aides, he'll be pi55ed.

"I suppose, according to you, even footage of "bedroom relations" would be watched"
---
Many good Americans would agree to it if it makes us safer. After all, we'd have trusted government workers doing the monitoring. They would be vetted to make sure they were good Americans who were only looking out for our well being. Recordings would be kept in a secure location. No one would get into trouble unless they broke a law. You probably do unnatural things in private and don't want to get caught. If you look like you are always following the law you are OK.

How can we be sure you are not mixing meth or explosives in your bathtub? What if you are studying anti-American web sites in your study? Building an bomb in your garage? You might be whispering traitorous ideas to your bed-mate. The only way to be completely safe is to watch everyone all of the time. Trust your government to take care of you. They have all of the secrets and know best.

Continuation of forthe peopl1

An American has a strong plan to end this war, bring ALL the troops home and start reconciliation in Iraq. But Congress must act now; de-authorize this war before the summer break, and bring all the troops home.
I'M joining this call on Congress to end this war NOW. It is time to stand up to Bush now. And it is time to bring all of our troops home. We should remove remove all of our troops from Iraq because any troops left behind will just become targets. If congress de-authorizes the war before the summer recess, we could have ALL of our troops home in six months.
Article 1 of the US CONSTITUTION give Congress, not the President, the right to declare war. The War Powers Act specifies that the President may not continue a war without Congressional authorization. Saddam is dead; there never were any WMD's or ties to Al Qaeda. The basis for the 2002 was authorization is gone.
If Congress passes a resolution de-authorizing the war, the President has no legal authority to continue. De-authorization cannot be vetoed, and it would legally require Bush to begin bringing the troops home.

We need to strenuously endorse this post by forthepeopl1, and call on Congress to act.

OPEN LETTER TO CBS, NBC, ABC,Cnn, FOX:
Copied from a post by forthe peopl1

Congress: You have known for the past four years that the illegal occupation of Iraq was initiated on the basis of lies. However, you still have allowed this administration to get away with murdering our troops. WHY?
You were also told before the invasion by British Intelligence that the Bush administration was, in fact, changing the intelligence to fit their agenda to go to war. You were told many times by other intelligence agencies that everything that was being said to you by Cheney, Bush, Rice and Rumsfeld was not true. They were lying, so again, we Americans want to know. WHY?
America is waiting to hear the truth, for once. So how about it?
The media ( see below) has to get this out there so all Americans can be calling on Congress everyday, asking WHT? WHY? WHY?

Your name says it all. You were rambling some nonsense about putting surveilance cameras in private homes & businesses, that if one is innocent & has nothing to hide they wouldn't have anything to worry about...blah blah.

Uh, you sound like you're the sort of weirdo who would be first in line for the government job of watching footage of people doing private things in their homes (through tax dollars this job would be paid for by the same people being spied on, how perfect!).

I suppose, according to you, even footage of "bedroom relations" would be watched with suspicion & a large, bottomless (eh hem) tub of popcorn. And do you really propose that people be watched while taking a dump, showering or checking a pimple, etc.?

You are some sick basTURD. Maybe you want to be in charge of manning the colonoscopy camera while it searches up your own arse for your brain?
