Just got back from this fallen hero's funeral procession. Me and the 'ol lady cried. I haven't cried in 5 years. Bush has been a lame duck since the day he took office. He's done nothing for the American people. He's done everything for the Big Cooporate/Wall Street world.

The only "Urban Legend" is that Carter Redeemed himself! ARe you kidding? If you will reread my comment, I never said Reagan threatened the Iranians to get the hostages back. The "facts" are that the Iranians never moved an inch to help Carter get the hostages released until "Reagan" was elected. After Reagan was elected the Iranians used Carter because they were afraid of what Reagan might do.

The Iranians played Carter like a violin, the way they are playing GWB. Of course, Carter helped in getting the hostages released, but the Iranians delayed the actual release until Reagan was sworn in. This whole situation was done methodically by the Iranians. If Carter had been re-elected its improbable that the hostages would have been released when they were.

There is no redemption for Jimmy Carter. It was a complete failure as president, although not as much as GWB. One of the biggest problems with GWB is that the entire world plays him and he falls right into their trap. From the Iranians, to Al Quaida, to Vladmir Putin. George W thinks he is a brilliant individual, but he is to stupid to see that he is just a tool.

Everyone mistakenly thinks that Reagan "threatened" Kohmeini but it didn't happen that way. That's an urban legend.

WoW, 18-whole months left, Shikes, I WAS REALLY HOPEING THAT HE'D HAVE LEFT LIKE 1 MONTH OR SOMETHING, Maybe even something like 30-seconds, till the Idiot goes back to Texas and plants his Azz in Crawford and stays there where it belongs !!! I truly feel sorry for our other Federal Personel, who kinda of sort of are expected to watch over this,Geezard for the next 18 months, if only I could be a fly on the wall and hear everything they really say and think about this Moran,,, Ohh what I wouldn't do to hear !!!!!!
