An honorable man would resign and spare his country the next 18 months. Under his reign we are now no only dependent on foreign oil which is a vulnerability the terrorist exploit he has now made us dependent on foreign capital in flows have increased for 780 Billion in 2005 to 1.5 Trillion today meaning foreign governments financed over half our governments deficit this weakness invites further terrorist and aggression to exploit this additional vulnerability. Watch those 401Ks boomers is this the beginning of the decline of our countries prosperity, probably%u2026%u2026%u2026.

armysgt1,,,, With all respect, you need to start paying attention, at least listen to what Bush says & see what he actually does... Every bit of Bush's War Rhetoric Emboldens the Enemy ---- I'm retired military, my son-in-law is a career Marine & he sees it also.

Since you are obviously so smart please tell me what equipment and training Bush promised and did not give our soldiers. Do not lie, I am a soldier and spent 24 months in Iraq. I know exactly what we needed and what we had. Also how has Bush boosted enemy propaganda?

Also keep in mind that if you like to talk about leadership do not forget to speak about our congressional leaders. How they out right say we have lost and need to come home. Our congressmen and women saying we have lost is the ultimate boost to enemy propaganda.

screen_name,,,, Don't ask don't tell, was an unwritten policy since the begining of our military, in all branches.

armysgt1,,,, This is about Bush's bad leadership, failures & how he boosts enemy Propaganda. ---- That's the reality

Military pay has not keept up with inflation, increasing costs, & continued devaluation of the US Dollar,,, Bush pays private contracted security as much as some of our 2 star generals for doing the same job as our troops.

Our troops need the equipment & training Bush promised & he cut's programs to help & protect them.

Clinton is remembered by military for the "don't ask don't tell" policy, and scaling down and closing bases.

j-whitman,

Did the pay raised Clinton gave the military match the inflation rate or job they do? Check that out before you bash Bush.

Ultra-liberals still claim that the hijacked plane that hit the Pentagon was some kind of staged conspiracy. It isn't surprising that ultra-liberals would try to shout down the Pentagon now.

infidel_us,,,, You don't think he's lying ?? -- Just this morning, he cried for more bipartisanship then turned around blaming democrats for obstruction..... He bosted about giving the troops pay raises, but they won't match either inflation or the job they are doing.
.... Bush now says we have to fight this war for the Troops.

Imagine there's no liberals...
It isn't hard to do...
No poverty pimps or tax increases...
No terrorists apologists too...
You may say that I'm a dreamer...
But I'm not the only one...

"Congress should stop all funding until the Pentagon heels to civilian control. Checks and balances checks and balance are very important and this it not just anyone this fellow is from the neo con sect of the GOP."

Pepperp1,

Great comment. Please remind me what rank the Secretary of Defense holds? Oh yea, he is a civilian. I love reading ignorant comments like yours. It shows that you are in no position to have an opinion about the government.

This is SUCH a crock. I wish the Pentagon would stay out of politics. They serve the country best when they serve the country doing what they are suppose to do. They are suppose to defend this country support our interests around the world and keep there nose out of everything else. They look cheap, petty and outright stupid making such right wing charges.

This is 2007 & the closest this nation has ever come to a dictatorship & you know it.

No sir, I don't "know it." I try to respect you because of your military service and I don't like slamming fellow navy vets, but you're really trying my patience. This is NO WHERE NEAR a 'dictatorship.'

Bush is incompetant, he's inept, he's lacking in a lot of areas, but I don't believe he's a liar. I think he really thinks he's doing the right thing. Unfortunately for us all, it's not....at least, it didn't turn out to be.

jedi08,,,, My main charge against this administration is ;
The "Grave" Damage they've done to our National Security, our Military & defenses
, the dishonor they've layed on our Nation
, the destabilization of an entire region
& the continued lies & missuse of our military.

J-witman I wont Disagree that Bush has failed in some aspects of things but if Corruption is your main charge, you would be a huge Hipocrit to support the Clintons in any way either.

Check this one out too. They were floating some law making it a crime for professors to indoctrinate. Didn't fly, though, could have been a rumor or a day dream on my part. Check this commentary below.

You can't have a democracy without Liberalism, or Conservativism. ---- You would have a dictatorship,, plane & simple, it doesn't get any more basic...
