The puppet Iraqi government must be kidding. Everyone knows that the way to handle Iraq is to scuttle all options for diplomacy, invade and bomb them, then claim you are doing it to "free them and give them democracy". Turkey should just keep on bombing and say they are following America's great example and really, they are just doing it to "free" the Kurds. Permanently, then they should move in and declare themselves saviours of the Kurdish people and start building permanent bases and embassies and demanding a cut into the oil profits. When America starts complaining--they should hold up a giant mirror and say: "Did YOU say something?" - Reply to this comment

- It's time to start asking the serious questions:
WHY do the President and his supporters want continued chaos in Iraq?
WHY do they oppose letting the Iraqis take over their own country?
WHY are they willing to sacrifice brave US soldiers to these ends?
I don't claim to know the answers, but sadly it looks like keeping chaos is their agenda because it makes it easier to extract profits and petroleum from the region. - Reply to this comment

- There are numerous "soft" targets if Al Queda wanted to use them. It does not take much imagination to think of a couple hundred or so soft targets. The argument is that a soft minor target will not have a impact on Americans or the economy. Yet if several soft targets were selected and set off simultaneous or close they would have a equal impact of what occured on 9-11.
