What did McCain ever do in his life to deserve the horror and humiliation the next year will surely bring. It is not enough to never get to be President (if 73% are against a war John, and you are adamantly for it--guess how the 73% are going to vote?) but he will go down in such humiliating flames that he may not physically survive it. Who among his staffers is too scared to tell him that he is done and is making a fool of himself? Was that the problem of the 2 who resigned? Did they tell him that with Obama and others have 30 to 50 million in donations and him with 2 million dollars he should just stop the slow bleed? so he canned them for not going down in flames with him? This is soooo sad and we will all have to watch it. The death not only of McCains dream to rule the US--but also the death of a maverick who sold his soul to foul politics and only succeeded in making himself the biggest political laughing stock of the millenium.
