Bush said: "I wouldn't ask a mother or a dad- I wouldn't put their son in harm's way if I didn't believe this was necessary for the security of the United States and the peace of the world"

Maybe he does believe it, which makes him an idiot, easily manipulated by the evil men who control our government.

A fool can see Iraq means nothing to the American people. Which makes Bush less than a fool...

How long will it take Iraqis to stand and fight their own war? We, the American People" keep hearing how the US has to maintain a high level of troops presence until the Iraqi forces are able to take on the responsibility of providing security. If I remember right, from my military days, the American military personnel is given anywhere from eight to fourteen weeks of basic training and a little schooling for the military job selected by the recruit. Let's see! That means that an American entering military service has approximately four months to be ready and battle trained. How long does it require the Iraqi's to train their forces? Hmmm - five years? If this is the case, the Iraqis joining the military must have a learning disability. Maybe George W should initiate his "No Child Left Behind Program" in his surge.

(AP) China executed the former head of its food and drug watchdog on Tuesday for approving untested medicine in exchange for cash, the strongest signal yet from Beijing that it is serious about tackling its product safety crisis.

The Chinese got it right...

Its funny how Bush wants us to have some patience to let his surge work. It was not that long ago when the weapons inspectors asked for some patience on Bushs part so they could complete their job in Iraq.

This administration will go down in history as the worst ever.

"That's what the American people expect. They expect for military people to come back and tell us how the military operations are going," Mr. Bush said. "And that's the way I'm going to play it as commander in chief."

.....they expect military people to come back and tell us how military operations are going.

BRILLIANT!!

Could you imagine having to sit through one of Bush's speeches in person?

I'd rather eat a handful of broken glass.

I really do not know how people listen to him.

They must have a gene that makes them capable.
