How many innocent Iraqi children have been condemned to death because George disliked Saddam and Cheney used 9/11 to exponentially increase the profits of HIS COMPANY - Haliburton.Haliburton is STILL getting rich from those NO BID contracts but NOW does it from their NEW offices in the Middle East - Tax Breaks must be KILLER there. In the meantime the INNOCENTS KEEP ON DYING.
Has George surpassed Saddam's record for death, torture and destruction yet??? Can somebody do the BODY COUNT ON THAT, Please.

Oh, and you'll be pleased to know that a couple of months back IN SPITE of a war going on our corporate pirates found (obviously by coincidence) during a "survey of Iraqi oil reserves that it was a REAL BONANZA with MUCH MORE available oil than previously estimated.

Hmmm.... CAN WE SAY REASON for using a tragedy that had NOTHING to do with anything IRAQI - 15 Saudi 9/11 terrorists, ZERO Iraqi 9/11 terrorists.

What's a FEW HUNDRED THOUSAND DEAD INNOCENT CIVILIANS in a beaten down, quiet country WHEN some greedy corporate elitist PIRATES can make TRILLIONS on an excuse cooked up by a FELLOW WEALTHY ELITIST that with a little looking the other way (worse maybe, help) destroys a couple thousand people of several nationalities along with a few buildings in the US.
The financial trading on 9/10 sure shows what the "excuse" was worth. The DIVERSION to Iraq made it ALL worthwhile in their eyes.

Our young men and women die while Al-Quaeda and other terrorists laugh, watching us squander our resources. Bush needs to admit his error and get us out NOW.

OK leftists, please put your listening ears on -- Bush has done NOTHING that rises to an impeachable offense (Clinton DID, he LIED to a Grand jury under OATH -- THAT IS an impeachable offense and the only reason that he wasn't convicted was that Democrats didn't have enough balls to do the right and ethical and moral thing and convict him) and just because he is a dumb-*** and everybody hates him and wishes he'd be impeached doesn't mean he will be or SHOULD be. GET OVER IT and worry about legal things.

Democrat supporters seem way too eager to ignore the complicity of their Party in the destruction of our country.

No, not ignore. Set aside for now. The goal is to rid us of the rats, before we can deal with the few cockroaches infesting the democratic party. No they are not saints, except when compared to the current republican leadership. The corruption of some democrats makes us sick, but the republicans are killing us. Let's stop the life-threaten cancer from the neoconservatives, before we worry about a relative toothache from the democrats.

to RandalDS,

I understand your point, I will however admit to being extremely disappointed when Pelosi announced at the beginning of her term that there would be no "witch hunt" as the witches were floating all around her, and that even now more Democrats are not working the media to focus public attention on the crimes that merit impeachment, the treasons, the lies to congress, etc.

Lately more Republicans have criticized Bush in the media than Democrats, many of us are becoming cynical about the current Democrats, so please excuse, many of us are not pretending, just disappointed.

If they would make public calls for impeachment loudly and clearly, it would help build momentum, the few republicans with sense will shift out of "protect mode", but the Democrats are playing it like a teenager's first s*e*xual encounter, unsure of how to start, and fumbling at the brastrap.

Indeed. Loyalty to Herr Bush (Sig heil) should be last, loyalty to America should be first - and always should be.

I agree, America first, party loyalty second and Bush last. Bush must be stopped, but he must be stopped the right way, via impeachment. For that to happen real Americans MUST lean on the republicans in the Senate. We MUST continue to show support for democrats that are working to rid of us Bush and we must understand that we can not do this without some help from the republican party. They must be made to understand that they are AMERICANS first, not republicans.

RandalDS,

Re: "it seems as if there is a growing number of posters here who pretend to be anti-Bush and yet blame the democrats for not impeaching Bush or stopping the war"

Some of us are not simply 'anti-Bush', but rather refuse to serve as slaves to either of the Corporate/AIPAC-owned 'major' parties- both of which represent calamitous failure to the American people.

Democrat supporters seem way too eager to ignore the complicity of their Party in the destruction of our country.

I can see it now. The Neocons lining up behind George's pardon of Bin Laden because HE HAD NOTHING TO DO WITH IRAQ.

black is white

lies are truth

rich is poor and needs government aid

poor are rich and need NO aid just hatred

good is bad

Bad is good

spy on the innocent

protect the guilty

WHEN DID THIS COUNTRY TURN INSIDE OUT??

"There comes a point where the White House has to say, 'Hey, look there are certain confidential things in the White House that we're not going to share with Congress, just like there are certain confidential things in Congress that we're not going to share with the White House,"' Hatch, R-Utah, said on CBS' Face the Nation.

Funny thing is George and Congress INSIST on THEIR confidentiality but the CONSTITUTIONAL RIGHTS of the AMERICAN PEOPLE are FAIR GAME.

"Let them eat cake" they say.

I understand and I really shouldn't go after them. Mostly it's out of boredom. I will say that it's refreshing sometimes to run across one of the more open ones like siningrick who openly states this is a religious war for him. He's insane of course, but at least his insanity is right out in the open instead of festering inside like many Bush supporters.

As for leaning on Congress, it seems as if there is a growing number of posters here who pretend to be anti-Bush and yet blame the democrats for not impeaching Bush or stopping the war, knowing full well that the democrats don't yet have the power to do so without some republican support. Personally I think some of them are really posting just to mock the democrats in congress.
