Does this really surprise anyone, this is the administration that invented "we'll talk, but it has to be behind closed doors and with no transcript". These are the people that visited Ashcroft in the hospital and arm twisted him to approve more illegal wiretapping. The first administration to conduct official business on private RNC accounts to avoid records of what they are doing, and now they are defying subpoenas from the branch of government that has oversight. I just don't understand why impeachment isn't on the table, the whole government has become dysfunctional.

The difference is Clinton's lies didn't get anybody killed and he was being asked about something that should have been between his wife and him, NOT the republican party!
Personally I'm discussed with the democrat and the republican parties but this administration and the undying loyalty of his party members to the criminal make me lean towards the democrats, even though they don't seem to have the balls to do what's right. it's sad really.

This idea that Scotter Libby was some independent operator and made his own decisions is a joke! Scooter Libby was the Vice Presidents and Presidents top aid and did what he was told and like a good foot soilder Scooter Libby looked out for his bosses and they looked out for him, in fact if Pres. Bush wasn't so politically weak Scooter would have received a full pardon. Americans don't like snitches anyway so Scooter is really in a no win situation, think about it, if Scooter squeals then he sold out his bosses, if he protects them he's seen as cool. Look at what happened to the hero who sold out his fellow soilders in Iraq turning in those pictures from Abu Ghraib Prison with chain girl and attack dogs! That dude can't go home, his community, fellow soilders and even his own family hates him for being a rat and he has a death sentence on his life! So much for picking on Scooter! Scooter is just a foot soilder in the big game who did what he was told!

Yeah, it clearly shows that you don't pay attention. Scooter Libby lied to a federal grand jury, too. While Bill Clinton took his punishment and didn't have someone commute any part of it, good old Dumbya decided to do away with part of Scooter's.
