Ann knows she is relatively foxy; like a lot of ultraconservatives, her private life is probably rather wild, though of course no one else should live that life. However, what I really, really like about her is that she does not let minor things like facts and reality get in the way of generating publicity. If her comments were made in public attacking the President, she would be arrested by the FBI
for threatening the life of the President. But since John Edwards is not a president, I guess it is ok with Federal authorities for her to make comments which pose a threat to a Presidential Candidate. I think her comments are seriously in violation of Federal Law and various state laws which prohibit comments which are life threatening or imply harm to others or are bigoted (as in the case of calling him a "***") - blatant sexual discrimination! Here in Oregon if you say that, you are arrested for a hate crime. Her comments demonstrate several things 1). That the criminal laws of our country only apply to liberals 2). That the conservatives are running scared 3). She is nothing but a looser.
