RandalDS - ok - you're slippin into 6 year old mode here.

The reason you have no one's respect has already been printed. You know how much I think of JW. But, if he can keep from name calling - I give him my point of view. If he starts up being less than a man again, I evaluate his words and tell him what someone (who doesn't know him except for what he has written) thinks of him. No, slight intended, just honesty.

Contrary to what you may think, you did have my respect, as someone that served during a difficult time. I have to wonder if you are the age you say you are and did serve, now, due to the garbage below.

Didn't you say you flew in the AF during Vietnam, mostly stateside ? I can't believe an AF oficer would stoop this low. Most former AF officers I know, and since my dad was one, I've known alot, wouldn't show the frustration you have demonstrated. Calling anyone the words you have used mearly stoops to that level and communicates frustration, it does nothing to further your cause. In fact, it will most likely harm it.

So, look up "State-sponsored Terrorism". Then tell me it has never happened.

Oh and I never said it never happened. However Iraq was no threat to us. Bush cynically used the attack by al-Qaeda on 9-11 as a pathetic excuse to attack Iraq for profit and because it was a neocon plan since before he was elected. In using that tragedy, that criminal attack, as a reason to attack a country that had nothing to do with it he pis*sed on the memory of all of the people who died that day. Yes we needed to go into Afghanistan to get bin laden, but we didn't! We went in there to put Hamid Karzai (an oil company lobbyist!) in power so big energy companies could build a gas pipeline! The lies Bush has told and the deaths that have resulted make him nothing more then a sawed off little mass-mudering Hitler want-to-be and that fat bag of sh*it he has for a VP is the perfect Goering.

If the police thought I committed a crime they would show up at my door with a search warrant along with a warrant for my arrest.

Why do they give these crooks advanced notice? The people in those offices will be going through as much paper work and change as much as they can.

ONLY IN AMERICA

speakinup,,,, You're right on Lugar, he'll end up staying with the party line regardless of what he pulically says... I've seen him in actions several times shutting down debates on issues like Iraq after promising a bipartisan debate.

"speakinup,,, What do you think of the opinion of Senator Lugar, who's also turned his back on Bush & his Iraq's War on Terror ????" J-whitman

Very good, JW. See, was that so hard. A good honest, hard to answer question.

I believe Senator Luger has succumb to public opinion in order to save his job. Statesmen aren't worried about their jobs, only politicians are. Statesmen do what they know to be right, irrespective of public opinion. Public opinion is often swayed by non-factual reporting. That would be reporting that is more spin to get the agenda across than fact. Now, I have to admit, this flows both ways, but it seems more often than not it is a liberal point of view than a conservative one.

Think about the number of times you read the headline, and it doen't match the content - or at least much better words could have been chosen.

Aren't you the least bit mad that someone is not telling the facts ? Don't yuo wish you had at least one place you could go to that you could get facts. Don't believe me - wait until the next time a plane crashes, and see what the body count is. For pete sake - they can't get a body count right among almost any three news agencies, so how are they going to deal with something as subjective as reporting on a battlefield ?
