Well, If Cheney attempts to hide behind executive privilege, he should be toast, actually the same goes for Bush, even if he is executive, but I doubt seriously Congress' resolve as regards doing their duty to protect the lives of our soldiers, or our citizens, it has been obvious to the whole world for years that Bush lied, they only now begin to question?

They will be bought off, or scared off, or killed off, there is more than enough money being embezzled to "take care" of anyone posing a real threat to the Bush Mob's continuity.

This is a job for the people, to take to the streets in massive protests, loudly protesting every little excuse given by congress for inaction, in effect "holding congress' feet to the fire"...

1. War is terrorism with a bigger budget. Whether killing is ever justified is debatable but the truth is might does not make right.

2. ALL the religious fanatics need to put more faith in the all powerful beings they allegedly have faith in and stop acting like their gods are impotent old men who need to rely on others to perform their wishes.

3. Freedom and justice are the means to safety not obstacles to them.

4. Give us your tired, your hungry, your huddled masses--in the name of the tired poor hungry illegal immigrants that landed here in the first place. Illegal immigrant? How the hell is there any such THING in this of all countries? What is this bullsht OUR country like if we arrived before xdate we are entitled? We're ALL FRIGGEN ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS MADE CITIZENS. The only people who should be turned away are criminals then we wouldn't HAVE illegal immigrants.

5. Protect your consitution. Not just because of Bush and Cheney but because power generally corrupts and attracts the corrupt and even if you believe in Bush how can you have faith in every president who will ever follow him? Leaders may come and go but laws and precedents have no term limits.

seven pesos....While I agree with you about republicans, I do however take exception to your premise that ALL of us here in the south, (Texas, in MY case)are to be painted with the same brush; This line of thought only reinforces what the VAST majority of posters here believe- that you are a shut-in, down in a basement in your underwear(let's Hope, at least) cutting and pasting your inane repetitive stupidity about a group of people you know ABSOLUTELY D*ICK, ABOUT! Do yourself, as well as the rest of us a favor, and ATTEMPT to post someting NEW, FOR A CHANGE, because You are beginning to look like Bush/ Cheney with your stupid broken record posts!

I'm going to dance on GW Bush and ******** Cheney's graves - and then I'm going to make a toast to the memory of all those who died as a result of serving these two morally corrupt cowards.

Do Americans really want paralysis in government? Constant investigations, hearings, accusations, and political wrangling lead nowhere. Time and energy is wasted by Congress. Most of these investigation result in nothing happening. Without proof, these investigations are meaningless. Future governments will be non-functioning. Do Americans really want paralysis in government?

As opposed to the corrupt government we have now that believes it's above the law? Yes, I'd rather have a paralyzed government then one that is busily raping the treasury and killing our troops in vain for profit. I'd rather have a government that does nothing then one that's actively scr*ewing us over.

So does anyone believe that Chickenhawk and Cheney will do anything other than hide behind executive privilege?

The part that is disturbing is it that it appears our tolerance for these criminals is so extreame that they could lie and start a war without being held accountable....Oh I am sorry they already did that.

When are the impeachment hearings going to start?
