Plea Comes After Commentator Says She Wishes John Edwards Had Been Killed By Terrorists
- "With the close of the second-quarter fundraising period approaching Saturday, the Edwards campaign quickly turned Coulter's comments into fundraising fodder. Edwards adviser Joe Trippi sent an e-mail to supporters Tuesday, saying critics %u201Cwill stop at nothing to tear John down.%u201D
%u201CWe are fighting back, but we need your help,%u201D Trippi wrote. %u201CGive what you can today.%u201D
NUFF SAID! Ya'll send your money to John so he can fight the evil Ann Coulter. - Reply to this comment
- "Probably has more DNA encrusted in its poly-cotton folds than is on file at the entire Human Genome Project."
Tisk, tisk.....precisely the kind of "hate speech" that Mrs. E is talking about! What would Dr. king say? Before you post, ask yourself: (WWMED) What Would Mrs. Edwards Do?
Can't we all just GET ALONG???? - Reply to this comment
- Feelfree1 that is hilarious. John, send her some flowers, she obviously has what passes for a crush on you in her world!

- Oh, one more thing.....I don't remember Mrs. E being all that upset when her husband's two "beotch" bloggers, who bad mouthed Christians, were going full steam.
Guess Mrs. Edwards thinks Christian bashing is ok? - Reply to this comment
- lfitts1,
I hope you're a better doctor than you are at political science. Guess you missed the published report last week showing a MASSIVE tilt to port, at a ratio of 9:1, "journalists" who contribute to democrat candidates.
In journalism schools, like Columbia, professors of journalism contribute at a rate of 15:1 democrat over republican.
So if you think Fox tilts right, I'd say it's equal time - all things considered. - Reply to this comment
- The real tragedy in all the madness created by the Annie Hoe%u2019s; in spite of her reprehensive sideshow is the fact that most American%u2019s do the same to each other on these post boards 24/7. The GOP has mastered PR through radio, television, print and other media outlets over the last thirty years. Many well-intentioned, hard working Republicans as well as Democrats and Independents can not effect change while millions of Americans chase after the false God%u2019s of politics. Moreover, everyday some Annie Hoe pretending to be a defender for the rights of the masses play the mind games, using propaganda, double speak and other well thought out techniques to create confusion, dissension and party division among the US citizens.
Mean while the politicians shove illegal immigration up, the American peoples noses.
Next on the chopping block.
Texas Segment of NAFTA Super Highway Nears Construction

The Trans-Texas Corridor (TTC) is ready to begin construction in late 2007 or early 2008, building the first segment of what is planned to be a NAFTA Super Highway stretching from Mexico to Canada.
So defend Coulter, believe in Bush and Vote for Hillary but remember the majority doesn%u2019t rule.
That%u2019s the punch line ha, ha. - Reply to this comment
- Well someone has to take the high ground. It certainly isn't John. But what high ground his Mrs. is attempting isn't clear either. I mean didn't he wish Cheney dead, too. Good manners always starts at home Lizzie. Maybe you can put that on a bumpersticker and attach it to Edwards' azz.

- realpatriot1,
You're missing the point! These Maher types do this sort of thing on a REGULAR basis! They NEVER get called down. So now we're in the heat of reviving the "fairness doctrine", and these left wing politicos are looking for any and all infractions.
Coulter was set up on MSNBC, and she handled it very well. Coulter has the BALLS to sit with the left wing Matthews, but Edwards is too big of a coward to go on Fox. He doesn't deserve to be president! - Reply to this comment
- Ann Coulter is obviously a very troubled man. Paying attention to him only encourages and fosters his hateful dellusions, in my opinion.

- As a physician I am no fan of Edwards..but thid Coulter woman--is there no comment or nothing low enough that she will not stoop--when they print a pamphlet about what is wrong with the US political system--her face will be on the first page...
As for FOX--best joke yet fair and balanced--if it were a boat it would capsize to starboard...
When an interviewer who is supposed to be impartial and discussing an issue with two opposing parties chimes in in support of one of them--unfair and unbalanced--their objectivity is a joke--to think they are objective you need to be have been completely brainwashed - Reply to this comment
- Another indicator that something is terribly wrong with this nation when the media hoe Coulter actually continues to receive recognition. This attention give legitimacy to someone who contributes to turning our system of government into a girls gone wild spoof while real lives and future posterity of a people are lost.
Coulter would parade her kids in the streets smeared with pigs feces if it gained her money and attention. - Reply to this comment
- Excuse Me! "NO PATRIOT99"
READ THIS STORY AGAIN! WHERE DOES ELIZABETH EDWARDS MENTION HER DECEASED SON???
This is THE problem. You take your personal resentments and rolled them into the political rhetoric. It's not there!
Maybe it was said, somewhere, but IT AIN'T IN THIS STORY, IS IT? READ IT! READ IT! READ IT. AGAIN!
No sense is possible when I'm forced to deal
with those who prefer to proffer their own NONSENSE!
You ain't no-body's patriot, either! - Reply to this comment
- "At least Edwards has SOME foreign policy experience." Suing overseas tobacco companies hardly counts as "foreign policy experience!!" LOL
As for RudyG, I don't respect the man and will not vote for him. - Reply to this comment
- jmagorotz,
I'll take you at your word on that. If they set it up that was bogus.
I wouldn't have a problem with her mimicing Maher's tasteless remark if she weren't doing this kind of thing constantly. She's like Paris or Brittany, if she doesn't show her *** nobody will pay attention.
I think it's over the line when you start disrespecting poeple's dead spouses and children and i don't think there's any way to justify that.
She's scum of the earth and so is anyone who can't see that as far as I'm concerned. - Reply to this comment
- infidel_us, and I guess you think Rudy G is???? At least Edwards has SOME foreign policy experience. 1

- infidel_us - I don't know why anyone with a brain would go on Fox. They don't interview, the chosen attack dog merely shouts at you over whatever level of common sense you're trying to beat into their little brain. Some freedom of speech.

- Coulter doesn't have any thing worthwhile to say, so she insults, misrepresents the truth and generally tries to be in control.
She is really pathetic. on drugs most the time and under investigation for not paying her taxes.
She is completely illrelevant and offers nothing worth listening to. - Reply to this comment
