repeating a post endlessly does little to support any argument, nor make you appear close to intelligent. instead, you demonstrate you are nothing but a parrot, repeating what you have been taught without putting any thought into it.

the only connection between embryonic stem cell research and abortion is that many opposed to the former also oppose the latter. but the two are not the same. as many have (in vain, apparently) tried to show, the embryoes that would have been used are going to be thrown out anyway. these are not potential "snowflake" babies, as the president likes to pretend.

if you are really pro-life, you should make it illegal to dispose of those embryoes at all. but that would be an anti-business move that, somehow, never comes up in the conversation.

as for your third point, how about we pull the plug on all federally funded research? you know, alzheimers, diabetes, cancer, all of it? after all, by your prattle, it would have no measurable impact on medical research, right? and would save a good chunk of change -- a good conservative value. the fact that this, too, somehow never comes up in the conversation, shows how empty your point is.

and it's nice to know that nancy reagan (and many real, thinking, conservatives) is involved in a liberal con-game, as she strongly supports stem cell research. i wonder if she knows that?

Just because the President vetos the legislation doesn't mean that the research is outlawed.

You are entitled to give as much of your own personal wealth to embryonic stem-cell research as you want.

I'm just thankful that I don't have to contribute any of my tax dollars to a liberal con-game.
