Yet another comment from the peanut gallery tells us that in relation to financial matters, "it that it is clear that [Bush] really does not know what the heck he is talking about!" - an interesting observation since President Bush is the only president in the entire history of this nation who holds an MBA in finance.

Add to this the moron who tells us, "the US HAD A SURPLUS, thanks to Bill CLinton. After 6 years of Dubya ... we have Hundreds of Billions of Dollars deficit." However, a government surplus means the government is taking more money away from the economy (through taxation) than they are putting into it (through spending). That means the government is harming the economy by reducng the amount of funds available for business expansion, paying wages, purchasing goods, and all other financial transactions. It was Clinton's moronic fiscal policy which caused the economic recession which Bush's policies helped to pull us out of.

...

I could go on, but after reading the first five pages of intellectual horse-manure, I think I've more than had my fill. I would, however, like to thank all of you who put the "dummy" in "Dummycrat" for the wonderful laughs. You show just how pathetically stupid you and your fellow Party members actually are.

I see you? And people like you? Who think that this activism has any place pig fat and spoiled, and I tell myself democracy has failed. Freedom has failed. Because you like the game better than you do the spoils. And thats you and YOUR cronies: SPOILED!

Your mouths have taken over you .. like demons. Like devil's tongues. You've turned the constitution into a god damned one liner! And NOTHING! NOTHING! Is a one-liner. Not one ******* thing in this world.

"Donnie- It is obvious that you have the mentality of a child (like ALL Bush lovers). So, go eat your milk and cookies, put on your cape, clutch your G.I. Joe and run around the family room sreaming, "Die, Muslims, Die!". Then it is nighty, night time for you."

My mentality is directly to yer rhetoric pal, and how you value it over your country.

I love the comments here. It really does demonstrate just how uneducated CBS's typical readership really is.

We have one idiot claiming "Bush and cronies aren't responsible for any of that debt ... only those earning wages of less than $250K per year pay taxes." In fact, Bush paid $186,378 in federal income tax last year on an adjusted gross income exceeding $750,000. Contrary to the myth from this poster, everyone is liable for taxes on their income except those who are impoverished.

Then we have another moron claiming, "By expanding the debt, Bush has all but assured that many retiring American's will be abandoned by their government in their twilight years" In reality, Social Security and Medicare funding is comletely separate from the General Treasury - so have no bearing on and are not in the slightest affected by the national debt.

Another idiot tells us, "Mr. 'Fuzzy Math' has escalated the national debt ... [i]n exchange ... for his $500 million presedential 'library'. ... George can do as he pleases with his $500 Million 'pension.'" Reality, however, shows that all Presidential Libraries are regulated and must account for every penny to the government. Bush can no more touch the money donated to the library than he can flap his arms and fly to the moon.

As the "tax and spend" liberals know, the President is not intelligent enough to understand that there is actually a cost to everyday government functions, as well as this low-budget war he sneaked us into. Our President, and his cronies who are dipping their fedoras below their eyebrows when they back Bush, only know the meaning of "spend".
With Bush, there are no consequences.
Oops, I take that back. There was the time, after he wisely stated "bring 'em on", when Bush said, "Sometimes words have consequences." However, with his short attention span, this was forgotten, and we got today's original speech from a Republican in Washington.

The oil for food scandal raised doubt on the inspectors reliability! And since hussein had signed a peace treaty, it wasn't the UNs obligation anyway! It was his!

And we were 30 feet away from bin laden at tora bora. And we'll be 30 feet away again. Just be patient. Not everythings a cheeseburger.

And the poppies are exactly what we ourselves face every freak'n day here on the streets in the USA! The Afghannis, God bless'em, are far more observant and peceptive than we are however, with regards to what a healthy crop might be. So don't worry about it. Worry about yerself. Yer gonna lose the white house, the senate, and the congress next election.

Donnie- The UN wanted their WMD inspectors to continue "fact finding" (as compared to knee jerk reactions) thing prior to any invasion.. Now, your fiscal Boy Wonder told us that this Iraqi WMD "investigation" would only cost around $50 Billion (with "reconstruction" paid for by the gushing oil flow.) Price tag is over $500 Billion and climbing climbing (plus 3,500 + dead Americans.)
Yet, still no WMD's and Osama is laughing his tail off. The reason we haven't been "hit again' is because your boy Bush and Shotgun Cheney are wreaking more havoc and destruction on this nation then any terrorists could possibly imagine or inflict.
p.s. Have you been reading about the bumber, record Afghan opium crop presently being harvested now that your hero has instilled "freedom and democracy" on Afghanistan?
