One thing I want to know is when are the members of Congress going to realize that they were elected to do what the people want them to do and not what special interests, to include Bush, want. If the members of Congress do not do what the people want, then it is time to VOTE THEM OUT OF OFFICE.

This country already has laws on the books when it comes to immigration that aren't being inforced. It is time to enforce the laws already on the books. Illegal aliens, where ever they are from, are law breakers and should be treated as such. NO AMNESTY!!!! Send them back to where they came from and MAKE THEM PAY FOR IT THEMSELVES instead of the government.

I imagine the balance of payments would change without all the money going out of the country that these illegals send to their families.

And, Lindsey Graham, you can be sure that I will work to see that you are NOT reelected if you continue to support this immigration bill!!!!

How do you know they won't pay fees and back taxes. This Bill is benefiting them, so they will pay the fees. Alot of undocumented immigrants have more money than you think.

Maybe a wicked clown, as I do like ICP, but then I would be called a Juggalo. Anyway, I seriously doubt that they will come forward and register knowing full well that they will have to return to their country of origin, and then pay a hefty fine/fee to reenter and get citizenship, or the pathway thereto. Oh, and the correct term (non PC) is Illegal Aliens!

You said that it would r5un afoul of several constitutional rights, such as unreasonable searches, asdn I was saying that when they paw through my luggage, handling my personals, that I feel that is an unreasonable search. It was IMHO.
