- now, i could run a similar list of american deaths that have at least a tenuous link to the current administration, but what would be the point? do you really want to posit that any action that results in american deaths is an indictment of the current administration, no matter why? i certainly don't. but i also see a difference in troops dead in iraq for questionable reasons and wtc I (which, unlike wtcII, the perpetrators were caught and convicted, btw).
or do you site the beruit bombings as an indictment of the lax security policies of ronald reagan? that fits with your methods, it seems.

Why could even go further back than that. How about Jimmah? Could care less about our security policies or our military. - Reply to this comment
- Yeah, it's those little white lies. They are so innocent now aren't they. Hasn't caused anyone's death. Okay. WTC I, Beruit, African Embassies, USS Cole. Nobody died while Clinton lied. Where were his heads?

that wasn't addressed to me, and the quote i used was, but i guess you prefer to duck and run.

Wow, I didn't realize Clinton's lie about Lewinsky caused all those terror bombings -- WTC I, Beruit, African Embassies, USS Cole.!
Can't wait to see the evidence. I am sure they will make it into a DVD, like the one they made about the Bush Admin planning and executing that whole 9/11 bombing to bring the country to war! - Reply to this comment
- The Bush Admin is run like a Mexican cartel and Gonzalez is just another one of his subordinates.
Ususally to bust the cartel, you have to bring down the kingpin and that looks like a scenario that will not happen.
The spineless democratic leaders are just too weak for that.
But something is better than nothin'. Getting that smirk off that lying face is good enough for me for now! - Reply to this comment

- .......bogusbones, now you know how the GOP controlled Congress have felt since 2000.
The only thing the Dems have in their favor is the FACT that our corrupt liberal MSM wolfpack HIDES this information from the public as much as there corrupt libs can.........
Welcome to America's "free left-wing press"
p.s Harry Reids approval rating is at 19% ......isn't he up for re-election in 2008?

and another winner in the "no thought required/repeat talking points" political discourse race. yes, america has an incredible left-wing press -- all owned by big and republican-leaning corporations and fronted by a white house press corps known more for its accommodation to the president than it's diligence in tracking a story.
http://abcnews.go.com/Politics/story?id=3242551&page=1 -- just one example of the story being hidden by the liberal media, right? but, eh -- whatever works to keep your protective bubble intact from reality.
and as far as reid, i'll make any wager you like those numbers aren't close to what his home state numbers are. i doubt he's losing sleep over re-election -- unlike many republicans like sununu that must face the voters next year. - Reply to this comment
- It's English, f O O l ..... BJ one time is not the same as S E X or Intercourse ..... besides looking at it from your perspective, i don't recall that BJ lie causing the death of anyone - so it begs the question, where is the outrage with what's currently going on ? - if you can respond, please lets stay in the now and make a constructive case/argument/point - if it's not too much to ask .... guess i spoke too soon

- infidel_US,
You seem to be confusing investigations with convictions. Yes, the GOP Congress did set a record for investigations during the Clinton years but you are inflating the conviction record.
The issue here that's worth pursuing at any cost is, were these prosecutors fired and replaced by others for the purpose of suppressing votes in the 2008 election.
Some of Rove's allegedly missing e-mails that were intended to go to an RNC account were mistakenly sent to an anti-Bush site and show,in Rove's own words from his White House server, what Monica Goodling testified to under oath.
That is that Tim Griffith, who was a replacement for the fired prosecutor in Arkansas and now works for the fred Thompson campaign, was "vote caging".
Rove's e-mails reveal that he was sending letters to the residence's of African-American service personnel stationed in Iraq. These letter, obstensivly to verify registration, were marked "do not forward" so they would come back without being forwarded to Iraq. In this way, these voters would vote absentee but wouldn't know that their votes were thrown out for allegedly being fraudulent. The only thing fraudulent was the scheme to destroy the votes of soldiers serving in Iraq.
If this can be proven true, it certainly trumps *** with an intern. - Reply to this comment

- If you try to get over Clinton's bj, we'll try to get over the three thousand u.s. troops Bush sent to Iraq based on a lie.

- nice try to muddy the playground, but i wasn't playing, i was trying to see what your limits were. apparently, none. i don't defend clinton as such, but i won't sit by and watch a hack pretend all is glory on one side and evil on the other. yes, clinton and the first lady lied (or at best stretched technicalities), but so has the current office holder.
i prefer to call them out both ways -- i slammed clinton and praised him based on what happened, and have done the same for the current prez. what i have no respect for are the hacks who toe the party line at the sacrifice of intelligence and honesty (like the eternal "clinton did it too" defense). if that doesn't fit you, you have my apologies. your statement, however, certainly led me in that direction.

Can't see why you aren't on the committee up on the Hill. Seems like them you too like to play games. It's called entrapment.
Cool, then maybe you'll stop wasting our time with your high school insults, and pathetic arguments and relegate them to the Rush show.
Thanks

- This 23% approval of the Democratic Congress is hogwash. Everything Congress tries to do, this overbearing and mis directed administration rejects, with unwavering support from the Repulican minority

They aren't worth the time and effort. I don't know when I'll ever learn that. Maybe I'll start now.

- Okay, wanna play. How about the bastardo Clinton who stood in front of the nation and boldly pointed his finger toward everyone's TV screen and said "I did not have *** with that woman". Oh, and how about the affidavit he concocted for Monica's signature. Ya know, these bold fact lies. Does that work for you?

- If our cowardly Government officials--who, by the way still work for us--would put forth a vote of no confidence from the Little Georgie down to Rice--perhaps we can get people in the White House who know who the real Americans are. This bunch thinks we're all idiots.
The long Iraq war and number of illegals have finally aroused the majority of Americans to where the legislators better do something in the best interest of the voters--or Washington will have a "new look" come elections. - Reply to this comment

- This rhetoric or "you did this" "he did that" is tiring and boring. If someone has done something wrong/shamefully abused power/broke the law of the land, let them answer to the charges.
This 23% approval of the Democratic Congress is hogwash. Everything Congress tries to do, this overbearing and mis directed administration rejects, with unwavering support from the Repulican minority.
If these prosecutors were fired for political reasons (Rove) then let's ask questions why.
I beg that we come together for the good of the country. A middle of the road approach to making America a better place to live.
It begins with getting out of the Middle East. - Reply to this comment
