Comments on: AP Poll: Bush Numbers Match All-Time Low
Only 32% Satisfied With President's Performance; Just 28% Happy With Bush's Handling Of War

Wasn't it Boris Badenov, from Jay Ward's "Bullwinkle and Rocky" who used to say "never underestimate the power of a schnook"... - Reply to this comment
- The numbers make sense if one counts; 1. The 10% of Americans directly profiting from Bush's ineptitude, and; 2. Those who work as middle management for the first group, and 3. Those who blindly agree with anything a politician says, just because he calls himself a "conservative".
The numbers of the first two categories is subject to change... - Reply to this comment
- "Mr. Bush still wins approval from seven in 10 Republicans, "
Oh well, there's ALWAYS idiots and morons who are happy to support ANYONE doing ANYTHING as long as he's in the same PARTY.
Same 7 in 10 would have been great candidates for supporting Hitler in the 1940's, my my how history repeats itself. Hitler found that many snooks willing to believe his BS and so has king george.
You saw what happened to Germany as a result of this, right? - Reply to this comment
- What is AMAZING is that 21% of the people Don't think we are headed in the wrong direction. Say What!?
3,500 dead troops, $500 Billion wasted, less safe, all for a needless War based in LIES.
Massive Budget Deficits
Massive tax cuts for the super rich
Jobs being shipped overseas
Laws like the "drug benefit" and banruptcy law are being written by corporate lobbyists.
Social Security under attack
Nothing done on Global Warming while Hummers are the status symbol of the obnoxious wealthy
Spineless Democrats hand Bush another blank check for WAR
.... Who ARE these 21% who think we aren't on wrong track??? Are 21% of Americans brain dead or too busy watching reality TV? - Reply to this comment

I believe the skepticism that is growing concerning 9/11 is not that the buildings were taken down by a jet--but that they fell in their own footprint. No building blown up falls in its on footprint unless explosives are strategically and mathematically placed.
Demolition experts concede that the way the buildings fell is unprecedented for unplanned demolition. If you do not understand this--then understand that for a building to fall straight down with seconds as opposed to toppling over sideways is almost impossible. I once watched a show on the science of large building demolitions in the early 1990s. It is a very involved process and must be done correctly to keep other buildings from being hit by debris.
What is producing skepticism is the way the buildings fell was exactly the same way the fall when done by experts--then there are the discrepancies. like the British station reporting the falling of one of the blds 9 minutes BEFORE it fell--then while the person was describing the damage-- in the background the bldg that had already been described as fallen--finally came down. Quite a trick...and no one can explain it--or the downing street memo.
Conspiracy theory? perhaps--but often, they do have elements of truth in them. Cheney and Bush refused to testify under oath about 9/11 and Bush refused to convene a commission for over a year after that incident. Hmmmmmmm. - Reply to this comment
- FACT:
24% of all American's prefer a Nazi style government. 100% of these weak, arrogant Southerner's vote Repuglicon.
28% of all American's continue to blindly support the Neocon/Bush/Cheney agenda of lies, theft, cronyism, incomptence.
Therefore, 85.7% of all Neocon/Bush/Cheney supporters are weak, arrogant, Southern Repuglicons, ie: NAZI LOVER'S. - Reply to this comment
- Mr. Bush still wins approval from seven in 10 Republicans, though that is near his historic low for GOP support.
- I'll vote for Bush in 2008. He's my zhero. Funny clown, laughing my azz off when I saw im in Germany talking to journalists. He looked as if he were hi on drugs... what a Moron. - Reply to this comment
- 21 percent of America are making the biggest mistake of their lives by supporting this Con NeoCon President!
When will this entire country wake up to the fact that we have all been Am-Bu$hed?
I believe that NeoCons planned the 9/11 atrocity to further their financial and political interests, that pre-planned demolition brought those three New York skyscrapers down, and some will spend their lives in prison when the world finds out... - Reply to this comment
- I get a charge out of the neo cons who are trying to use the same tactics they used before. The Dems are not doing what we put them in for so they must go. I hate to tell you this but we knew that they didn't have the power to over turn the President's veto. But if they keep up the presure and do as we the people tell them they we will reward them. I hope that the next bunch will learn from the bunch they replaced that if they continue to ignore us we will replace them in 12 years just like we did the Reps. The middle of the road is not as stupid as you think my friends. Take that back to Nancy and Harry we will always be on the watch but we do know that you can't make changes in just a few months.

You should feel like one, because you think like one. Freedom includes the ability to speak one's mind. Read the Constitution. You don't have the right to bully someone over what they believe. *That's* what freedom *IS*. So if you want to stand up for freedom, then stand up for the people to be able to say what they want.
I say this war and this president are criminal.
It is hard to believe anyone anywhere in this country still thinks he is qualified to be anywhere near the White House let alone be President. He isn't qualified to be a dog catcher. - Reply to this comment
- Genocide, well, there's a thought. It could even spread to Iran and Syria... I just became the biggest advocate of pulling out. Let's get our boys home yesterday and let the Iraqis sort their own country out. They didn't look too sad when we got rid of their Saddam.

Yes, donnie, I understand that very well, and I agree. I also would raise a ruckus for my freedom. But my freedom has nothing, and never had anything to do with Iraq. Bush is the one who has attacked my freedoms. If we are trying to protect our freedoms by giving them up, then what is the frickin' point? Fight and kick for your constitution, not for a paper tiger in the White House. Those guys come and go, but our constitution should stay forever. :o) - Reply to this comment

do you know why there is no revolution?? because most IF NOT ALL ANTI-BUSH ADVOCATES DOES NOT REALLY GIVE A *** ABOUT OUR SOLDIERS NOR DO THEY CARE ABOUT THE WAR. it is because all of those anti-bush advocates just loves to whine..i.e. cindy sheehan..al franken..about the war but in reality has DIFFERENT AGENDAS..cindy is for the money and some are because Bush is a symbol of anti-gay or that he is a conservative..ANYTHING BUT THE WAR..if we can only get half of those liberals to REALLY CARE..they would not be using thier SUV to go to thier war protests IN RETURN releasing some dependency on oil... - Reply to this comment
- tejasdemo: The dems in congress seemed to bend over and continued to fund the war because they have access to quite a bit more data than you do. There are quite a few people in that five-pointed building in Washington with MIT degrees whose job is to analyze all relevant data available and very likely showed someone the nightmare scenario, right after the last troops came home and a week before election day in '08, when the Golden Gate bridge or the Sacramento Capitol went up in smoke...

Are these the same people that told them we should attack Iraq and spread democracy throughout the middle east ?
The more likely scenario is that they simply didnt have the guts to call Bush's bluff. The sad part is that I guarantee you 2 days after Bush leaves office all the pundits (except for Fox news) will be saying what a relief it is to have him gone. A very large majority of this country wants some kind of draw down on troops immediately and they have for over one year. Congress has ignored it.The majority of the soldiers who die in Iraq are just kids. Kids ! Doesnt anybody give a *** about them ?
Just pathetic. - Reply to this comment

Regretfully, I omitted, "ignorant morons & idiots" from the list of Bush supporters.
I notice the idiots and ignorant morons are still attempting to connect Iraq with the events of 9/11/01. And, are also claiming (falsely) that Islam is a monolithic religion with specific leaders who are following an agenda.
Ignorance is usually cured by education, stupidity has no cure. It appears some Bush supporters are idiots hampered by their obvious stupidity.
But, then again, so is George Bush. - Reply to this comment
- What I want to know is who are the 32pct that still think he is doing a good job? For crikey sakes, our country couldn't be in a bigger mess.
