Comments on: AP Poll: Bush Numbers Match All-Time Low
Only 32% Satisfied With President's Performance; Just 28% Happy With Bush's Handling Of War

'Ahhh but their ratings are on the way up from being lower and Bush's are sinking faster and faster from being higher. Of course a neocon would fail to point that little fact out, now wouldn't you? Or maybe god forgot to tell you that part? LOL!'
Funny, the Gallup organizations seems to disagree with you. At this link: http://www.galluppoll.com/content/?ci=27589 you can find the following:
'According to the May 10-13, 2007, Gallup Poll, 29% of Americans approve and 64% disapprove of the way Congress is handling its job. Congressional approval is down 4 percentage points since last month, and is 3 points lower than the 32% average measured during the first five months of the year. The high point for the congressional approval rating so far this year was the 37% approval measured in February. Although ratings are quite low, Americans have been more positive in their assessments of Congress this year than last year, when an average of just 25% approved of Congress.'
I wouldn't call a 5% drop over the last 4 months an rise. But then I'm not you.

- Does it talk about the fact that the Democratic-controlled congress has an approval rating lower than that of Bush?

- This administration has been caught using tax dollars in the past to influence the population in their thinking, why not pay the news services to have us believe these poll numbers are higher than they really are?
In talking to folks out in public, I suspect the support numbers are closer to 8 percent... - Reply to this comment

- firststate,
If that's Rockin' Killer Koolaid, you might want to give it a try. (Gin, Amaretto, Melon liqueur, Vodka, Sprite, Orange juice, and Pineapple juice). After a couple, even you might see the light.

- RandalDS, they're doing double shots of the KoolAid. It's really complicated, too. They have to remember that if they use ice, it lets reality start to peek into their perception as the ice melts. Reality Bad!

- One of the few things more disturbing than the knowledge that nearly 1 in 3 people approve of dumbya's overall job performance is the fact that he still controls the NuKuLer launch codes.

You know though, considering some of the posts by pro-Bush idiots here on this site, one would have to conclude that either there are more pro-Bush idiots then this poll would suggest or that they're just esp virulent and ignorant here. I think it's that we seem to attract the more stupid ones here. I would have said the more brainwashed ones, but being a Bush supporter precludes them having a brain to wash.
