You are preaching to the choir. This entire issue just makes me ill, as it did in 1986. I am so tired of pretty much all our posturing, pompous, ignorant Senators, particularly Kennedy, he makes me nauseas when he speaks.

Even more interesting is Newt Gingrichs comments claiming the governments 12 million illegal Mexican figure was bogus! Gingrich said the government has no idea what the illegal Mexican count is and could be as high as 30 million illegals! That's insane, 30 million? Why are people acting like 12 to 20 to 30 million illegals are no big deal. 12 to 20 to 30 million illegals is a lot of people to absorb! WOW

This was a disingenuous attempt by an anti-immigration Senator to muddy the waters and he should be ashamed for how cheap and obvious of a trick it was. It's like something out of a Junior High School student council and I would have expected better from someone calling themselves a US Senator. Cheap trick from top to bottom. Juvenile. Not too surprising coming from that as8shole I guess, but juvenile nevertheless.

Oh really? Is that why the Senate did accept Kennedys amdt that is basically a watered down version of Cornyn's?

Rejected Cornyn Amdt. No. 1184, As Modified; To establish a permanent bar for gang members, terrorists, and other criminals.

Agreed to Kennedy Amdt. No. 1333, as Modified; To increase the immigration-related penalties associated with various criminal activities.

I'm with you. Those stats p1ss me off so much it really makes me want to DEPORT. No ifs ands or buts. DEPORT every last one and get our country back and quit wasting tax dollars. We should boycott Mexico.

The U.S. has been successfully invaded and overrun without a single shot being fired. Redeploy U.S. forces in Iraq to the Mexican border where they can engage in a more urgent mission!

Even if Newt is everything you claim, that is not the point! Does this legislation contain language that lets illegal Mexican criminals just fill out a form promising not to do it again and stay in the U.S. or not, thats the main point, not anything to do with Newt! Beating up Newt deflects from the main issue!
