What does this have to do with Michael Jackson, Jesse Jackson or Al Sharpton? If you want to talk about the Republican that was convicted in California, Cunningham, I would agree. However, you need to turn this into a racial issue. I hope those who tell blacks not to use the race card are also critical of people like you who also use the race card.

Republicans do not have too much to say after re-electing Bush. At least in this case, nobody died. Unfortunately, the same can't be said in the other.

Fact is, any politican, regardless of their political standing, should not think they are above the law.

If they are corrupt, then I hope they are brought crashing down to earth in a big, messy heap.

While Cheney was still receiving deferred compensation (completely legal) and has signed profits of his stock options over to charities, he continues to own the stock options.

Apparently, this can be changed as long as Cheney gives them 60 days notice.

And of course, while he may not currently make a profit from those stock options, he still owns them, and they are considered an asset.

And as their value increases, so does Cheney's financial worth.

When they decline, so does Cheney's financial worth.

Creative accounting is a wonderful thing.

The Democrats are hipocrites as well. When Cunningham a Republican got caught with his hand in the cookie jar, he admitted it and was sent to jail. The Democrats were screaming for his scalp as well they should have since he didnt deserve to be in office. The same is true for Jefferson. Get on the bandwagon before it leaves you waiting at the post. Now Pelosi should send the case to the Ethics committee immediately to show she is really interested in America and not the Democratic Party. So far she has flipped and took the fifth. When will they ever learn?

There are still 534 that should also be subpoened and thrown out of office. Yes it took a long time, hopefully then the case is airtight. Lets stop sending these crooks to white collar prisons and having them serve only seven years. Give them twenty years in a real jail with all the other crooks.
