- Now if Jefferson a Republican mole will tell the jury Bush and Cheney put him up to it, in order to increase their communications in wire tapping American's and Foreigners phones, we have another scandal to tie around this outlaw government in the USA.

THERE ARE MILLIONS OF OTHER GOOD PEOPLE IN THE MIDDLE EAST THAT DESERVE A VOICE JUST NOT AMERICAN LIVES!
"Gen. William Odom discusses the worst strategic disaster in American history, the war in Iraq: the view of most generals that the war is wrong, the failure of the politicians to see the consequences of their actions, the centrality of the neoconservatives and the Israel lobby in pushing for the Iraq invasion and this surge!

- In these times, it is impossible to be a politician without being corrupt, all the way to the top, we should jail them all, except Bush and Cheney, they should be tried for treason and war crimes, when found guilty, should face the prescribed sanction for it. The saddest part is after all of the "Black" heroes who sacrificed on the way to this idiots' term, he could become just one of the dogs that ran the corrupt society that made us suffer. We were supposed to become better than them, not like Orwell's pigs from Animal Farm.
That aside, all heads of all states are corrupt, meeting with a head of state, be it Nigeria, or England, or the US is impossible without spreading money around under the table.
And the FBI trying to get him to take is simple entrapment. Not impossible to beat that charge, sue them, then the frozen cash becomes really his, great job, FBI. - Reply to this comment
- Snow Job - Small Potatos - Easy Pickings - Small Fry - Soft Touch - Abstract Priorities - ect.
The FBI - Holds a national news conference
to beat their breasts.
In a lame attempt to try and make the world think :
They actually did - Some kind of work.
The FBI has no shame.
Millions of dollars, given to that organization every year.
Thousands of agents working.
This is the best - They can accomplish ! ! !
There is bigger - Fish to fry.
But ! The FBI seems to turn, a blind eye and a deaf ear.
Money missing from Katrina. (Those were Federal banks.)
The litany goes on - and on - and on - and on.
Illegal (criminal) wiretapping operations.
Even a 10-year-old child, knows enough :- "Not" -
To obey an illegal or a criminal - order or request.
Not so - For the FBI.
They jump on a illegal order, - with relish and enthusiasm.
Not so much - that it is an illegal (criminal) order.
But ! It gives them an opportunity, to show their true patriotic values.
It enables them, to display a profound attitude of :
Nepotism and Patronization : To the Bush administration.
But ! Far above that - It gives them an opportunity to perform.
A certain degree of - Fraternization to :
The Republican Party.
Compared to what is out there for :
The FBI to do - Real quality work on.
Rep. Jefferson - Is a very small and petite catch.
For the FBI - to beat their breasts
Telling the world how great they are.
Is out-right : - "Pathetic"
Totally Shameful ! ! ! ! ...tut...yut...tut

Has he done something illegal?

The biggest case of corruption right now of course is the one that involves ******** Cheney.
When the main instigator of a war directly or indirectly benefits from a war he started, that is corruption at the highest level, if not even treason.
Because it not only involves money but so far has caused the deaths of 3500 American servicemen and women and tens of thousands more maimed for life. - Reply to this comment

Just because you're right wing, fascist, drug addicted poster boy Rush didn't cover it, doesn't mean it's not getting coverage.
Are you Republican schmucks going to attempt to blame this on Clinton as well? - Reply to this comment

- This guy did something really bad. He had $90,000 cash in his freezer.
The Republican, Mark Foley, only molested little boys, no harm in that.

- BIGDADPATRIO: I realize you are probably not consciously evil, just not very smart, having been successfully conned by the right-wing radical America-hating nutjobs on talk radio.
When there's no media coverage, it's because the press is liberal. When there is media coverage, it isn't frenzied enough for your taste. Isn't that statement, which is simply yours stated coherently, indicative of an indoctrinated brain? Of course it is.
Observe how you've been conned: anything Conservatives are actually guilty of, they accuse Democrats of first. Sincerely, that's how it works. Next time Rush or Drudge or Savage or any of your other heroes makes an accusation, just objectively think about whether or not it could apply to the Republicans, instead. Clearly, it can, and if you're honest you'll admit it, at least to yourself.
Liberal media? The #1 news program in the country is Fox, and right-wing radio propaganda spews forth 24/7. It is an old trick of both the Nazis and Communists, to accuse the mainstream of bias, and convince the bovine masses that only The Party can give you the real, balanced truth. Wake up, neo-con dinks. - Reply to this comment

There was plenty of coverage, you simply weren't looking for it. That filtering of yours is called selective perception, and you clearly demonstrate the process is not limited to Democrats-- just as corruption is not limited to Republicans (however much of a fine art and almost exclusive property they have made it, lately.)
Most of the media "feeding frenzy" to which you refer involved those from both sides of the aisle, coming to Jefferson's aid-- not on the idea corruption or the appearance of corruption can be tolerated, but to oppose the notion one branch of government can search and seize artifacts on the premises of another. Both Dems and GOP bozos were involved in that protest, which brought relations between Bush and the GOP congress to a flash point. Apparently, neither party in congress regards executive privilege as absolute or sacrosanct. - Reply to this comment
