He served, unlike bush, cheney, romney, thompson, and just about every other pepuke you can name.It puzzles me how all these macho man types write in here to extoll and defend the glory of war, when none of their heros bothered to fight.

And your shrub boy was so unremarkable in his service to this country during the last war that killed over 50,000 of our soldiers, that no one even remembers him being in the States in the Guard with them and his pop a big shot at the time, funny that for years no record, no buddy memories no photos just cashed paychecks about the same time was it not%u2026%u2026%u2026%u2026%u2026.%u2026. at least Kerry showed up in Country, even the bought and paid for swift boat cowards remember Kerry with his pink parasol and French accent very well.

I agree with you wholeheartedly. Our system is a mix of capitalism and socialism. I think what Mudrose is talking about is when the mix creeps too much toward socialism and I do think ther's danger in creeping too much in either direction.
For example,wage and price controls could be called a socialist experiment and it didn't work very well. Forgoing anti-trust and consumer protection is a capitalist experiment that hasn't worked very well either. - Reply to this comment
