So Old Jimmy Carter says that President Bush is the worst in history. That's a big statement coming from Carter. But of course old jimmy would know about being the worst.

I guess Jimmy could call Bush the worst if you're not bothered by the resurgence of Islamic fundamentalist terrorism (which startes on his watch), or him traveling the world coddling dictators and bad-mouthing America?

Or Carter as meddling ex-president? How Carter befriended Noth Korea during the Clinton administration, appeasing the communist regime and giving it cover for its nuclear program? How Carter made direct contacts with Soviet officials to try to subvert President Peagan's anti-communist policies. Or how Carter befriended Arafat-making himself an enemy of Israel?

Let's not talk abot The Carter White House during the disasters of the Sandinista takeover of Nicaragua, the energy crisis and stagflation, massive unemployment, the Iranian revolution and hostage crisis, and the invasion of Afghanistan. American hated and disrepected around the world. Our ecomony on the brink of another depression.

So yes, Jimmy Carter would know about being the worst.
