Besides rudyboy/girl, you're the one ranting about self-righteous Euro-Americans. Is that the racist hate you teach your in your little citizenship class? Is it or is it not true that those self righteous Euro-Amaericans were kind enough to let them into this country and pay for all their social services.

This is wrong. Why would we reward these people for breaking the law. My wife, who is Mexican, and I have been seperated already for 3 years waiting to get her papers so she can come into the US legally. We have never broken the law, make a decent living and just want to have the chance to live our lives together as a married couple. We have followed the law and have been penalized and they are suggesting that those who have broken the law be rewarded.

What does a white sheet have to do with illegal immigration?

Go back and put on that white sheet.

A ?

5 of those Fort Dix Terrorists were here illegally. Any bets they came xs the Southern or Canadian borders ? We have to first fix the borders. then,,
1. Sort out the good illegals from the bad. The great majority that I have met ( S. California) are good hard working people, who would make great citizens, and are patriotic. The criminals/felons should be placed in Mexican jails, or worse. Not made citizens.
2. Pledges of English First. from all new citizens. 3. National IDs, and Data base. If the computers of the credit company can keep tract, and the airlines, why not the USA gov't. Ans. They can.

Easy. Yes. But it will hurt big business , cheap near slave labor ( meat packing, farm, many others I have no idea about. This crop of Republicans are not for the Middle Class, Ronnie Was, the Bushes are not. It is a SHAME.

Well, why don't you go back to your little citizenship class and tell them us self-righteous Euro-Americans are sick and tired of paying their bills? And then tell them we know history and the workings of our govt. real well and they're gonna find out just how well when we deport their azzes back to Mexico after we seize all of their property.

Here we go : 1. The border will never to fixed. Only 2 miles of a 300 mile barrier has been built, although a "law" was passed.
We want cheap labor, Republicans, and the Democrats want more voters, and want to feel good about themselves.
2. Kick the can down the road.

It does not mean that if a criminal comes forward he or she gets to stay. Deportation of criminals goes on. This proposal (if it becomes law) will not affect that in any manner.

Oh, you are high!!! I can't believe that you wrote "if a criminal come forward". I know that all the 9/11 highjackers advised TSA before they got on the planes.

RandalDS.

Dude, are you high? 1. Fortunately, this isn't a law yet, just a bill. I quote from this story "They could come forward right away to claim a probationary card that would let them live and work legally in the U.S.".
Read the BILL.

I have read the proposal and it says nothing about allowing criminals to be protected. The probationary card is for all illegals who are only illegal because they're here illegally, not because they're a criminal otherwise. It does not mean that if a criminal comes forward he or she gets to stay. Deportation of criminals goes on. This proposal (if it becomes law) will not affect that in any manner.

The absolutely scariest thing: this applies to all illegal aliens, not just hard working people wanting to help their family. It also applies to people that wish to do America harm like Terrorists. WRITE YOUR LEGISLATOR TODAY, THEY WON'T SEE IT HERE.

**The said thing is that most Mexicans dont wan to be American citizens.. They want to work her and then save enough and move back to Mexico.**

What a lie. Since I teach citizenship, and the majority are Mexicans, I can tell you this, they are often surprised that you self-righteous Euro-Americans don't even know the history of your own country or the workings of your own government. Heck, most of you couldn't even pass a citizenship test. That's because too many of you are so racist that you bleed ignorance.

For the life of me I cannot understand why we're coddling these people. Good god, they sneaked across the border, send them home. Have we gone completely nuts?

THIS IS INSANE. As soon President Bush signs this bill, every illegal alien that is here will be protected from deportation, TRUE FACT. It won%u2019t matter if they are a terrorist, a criminal, a pedophile or an honest hard working human being. Not to mention who or how many will come sneak in next year or the year after waiting out amnesty 2026. WE CANNOT ALLOW THIS TO HAPPEN TO AMERICA.

Posted by nottellin1 at 12:22 AM : May 18, 2007

Wrong and wrong. Any criminal that is here, legally or illegally, from any country, is still just as subject to prison and/or deportation as before. This law does nothing to stop that or to protect them. Nada. Zip. Not a single thing.

And no new ones can not keep coming here expecting to be covered by this path to citizenship as it only applies to those who can prove that they were here before January 1st of this year. Meaning as of 5 months ago. Anyone after that date is still going to be illegal and subject to deportation.

Read the law.

One last thing: not very many people actually read our comments, certainly not CBS, nor our politicians. The only way to make your coice heard is to write you legislators. Better yet, write to them all. Here's the link to find them.

Randal, how is having a dozen kids in the emergency room of hospitals and then using fraudulent SS#s to collect fraudulent EITC, then claim as many realitves in Mexico as it takes to not pay ANY taxes, paying your fair share. Paying your fair share of taxes is paying 25% in taxes like the rest of us. It's paying for your own stuff including health care. It's not taking advantage of a host country by trying to get everything you can without giving back anything. T

Well first of all your example is a complete pile of garbage. IF illegals were doing what you say in your example then of course it's not paying there fair share. The difference is of course that your example is a complete work of fiction. It's not anything like that in the real world and you know it. Either that or you're buying the BS the minutemen put out hook, line and sinker.

I don't think the "they are here illegally is going to be the strongest arguement. Please write your legislators and let them know you are worried about how many Al Queda members and terrorist this will apply to. The minute Bush signs this into law, it becomes unlawful to deport anyone here before January 07.
