Comments on: House Defies Bush On Iraq Funding
Passes Limited Funding Bill, Rejects 9-Month Exit Plan; Bush Signals Flexibility On Benchmarks
- Bush tossed a granade in the ME, no doubt. But this man is not guilty of conspiracy theories and after 9/11 felt driven to protect this country.

simple explaination for a not so simple decision.
so simple that it is contrary to fact:
so let's say it again - 911(Al-Qaeda) was not in Iraq and Iraq had nothing to do with 911.
you did so something approaching the truth - this is bush was "on overdrive". A better word would have been "overwhelmed".
As every level headed observer knows, the bad guys, i.e. Talibs and A-Q, were in Afghanistan. Even the CIA confirmed this before the war.
The agression against Iraq had many reasons, none of which had anything to do with 911 and everything to do with "geo-political neocon nonsense".
Just read the senate inquiry with Rice: "our objective was a transformation of the ME". - Reply to this comment

Are you saying we should listen to your right wing propaganda instead of the truth?

Nah, I'm just quoting leftwing propaganda. - Reply to this comment
- mudrose - for the love of pete -- have you so DENSE that you don't yet know that Saddam's Iraq was NOT Sectarian Islamic and indeed that's why bin Laden despised him so much??
Sorry - but one would have to be a VERY simpleminded clod not to know even that much that yet. - Reply to this comment
- Also, I have posted that tidbit about Israel telling us Iraq is making terror worse probably 20 times, and no NeoCon has ever acknowedged it or responded.
Wonder why?

I don't doubt it. However, while I would like to say that this is a coincidence, I wouldn't be telling you the truth. I believe that the Afghanie and Iraqi war has a lot to do with it, but I also believe it's more noticeable because of the wars and I also believe that this spike is something that would be more massive if the wars hadn't started. The intention is for a world-wide jihad. They aren't kidding. However, the Rosie O'Lardasses have gone away. Truth always prevails you see. Thank you for your level-headedness. I was tired, cranky and overwhelmed yesterday and had a melt-down in 3 languages. But you and ozilot with a "little o" while not sharing my point of view, always manage to nonetheless respect someone's right to have their opinions, too. Bush tossed a granade in the ME, no doubt. But this man is not guilty of conspiracy theories and after 9/11 felt driven to protect this country. Like all of us, he went on overdrive. To leave the ME now is going to create another Cambodia. I cannot live through another debacle such as that again in one lifetime. - Reply to this comment
- "Hitler once said that if a lie were big enough it would be believed." Posted by mudrose
Funny, 72% of America thinks that the Hitlerian lie that is often being repeated is that things are going well in Iraq. And there is one obvious candidateas the main nazi-like pitchman for this lie.
No one cares what you say about Geo Soros. You know why. Because you can no longer fool loyal Americans that the Iraq War is a good thing or even an attack on terrorism. Its that simple.
Be like McCain and yesterday's 11 House Republicans. Give up on Bush and you will redeem your American citizenship.
If you believe in God, what do you think God would have done to loyal supporters of Hitler? How are supporters of Bush any different? I mean this is an illegal war of aggression. It is resulting in the deaths of hundreds of thousands of innocent people. The International Community and even American citizens agree on this fact. Don't you think God recognizes obvious sin? - Reply to this comment

- Good Going Nancy Pelosi! America owes you a debt of gratitude as large as the monetary debt that W has created. And that's huge!
We elected the Dems last year to give W the message quite clearly that this war is illegal; and it must stop now.
Hurray for Loyal Americans everywhere. Today is one more step for the voice of the People. - Reply to this comment

WASHINGTON (AP) - People think the Democratic-led Congress is doing just as dreary a job as President Bush, following four months of bitter political standoffs that have seen little progress on Iraq and a host of domestic issues.
An AP-Ipsos poll also found that House Speaker Nancy Pelosi is a more popular figure than the president and her colleagues on Capitol Hill, though she faces a gender gap in which significantly more women than men support her. - Reply to this comment
- Hitler once said that if a lie were big enough it would be believed. Obviously MoveOn.org, the anti-Bush group funded by billionaire George Soros, are apostles of this theory.
The ads by MoveOn.org are just as bad if not worse. MoveOn.org was formed to deter the impeachment for perjury of President Clinton. Soros, its primary financier, was convicted of illegal stock trading in France and was thrown out of the country. He is banned in China and almost destroyed the British economy by shorting its currency.
Yup, that's what they are? Part of the Rosie O'Lardass crowd. Will concoct anything and say anything like Pelosi and President Harry. MoveOn.Org. is their leadership and they dance the puppet dance. All the little trolls in tutus lock step to their rants. P.S. micma you are being watched. P.P.S. Polly-wanna take my meds for me.

- Thank you, mudrose, for the advertising you are giving to MoveOn.org!! Every time you mention US, as I am a member fo that group, you are perhaps letting someone who has never heard of us know that there is someone out there that cares about what is going on in the United States of America. Your denigrations of US are probably helping us more than you could imagine!

- "And what about the troops that are dying in Afghanistan? Oh, that's right, that's where the real war is, right? So it's not that they die, it's where they die."
Actually, it's WHY they die. I don't like our troops dying anywhere or for any reason, but if they die fighting a genuine war against enemies of our country, I can see the necessity and accept it.
If they die, as they are in Iraq, for either one man's incompetence and stubbornness or that man and his friends' get richer scheme, that I have an enormous problem with. Especially when, as even our friends the Israelis tell us, the Iraq war is drastically worsening the terror problem.
Consider this: since the invasion, according to Mossad, the Israeli intel service, Al Qaeda alone has picked up 10,000 new recruits and the number of anti-US terrorists around the world has multiplied by 5. It was published here last week that Muslim terror attacks world-wide are up 25% in the last year alone.
So ... WHY are our troops dying in Iraq is an important question. - Reply to this comment
- 11 moderate GOP lawmakers bluntly told Mr. Bush that the status quo was unsustainable and could mean further election losses next year.
No mention of troops dying or the debt bush is running up for this country with his oil invasion.
They only care about themselves and their party and there are no moderate republicans in congress their voting record supports that.

In the next elections it should be continually pointed out--that Bush and the Republican Congress:
1. Would NOT consider compromise in Iraq to stop the dying of Americans
2. Would NOT consider compromise in Iraq to stop the bleeding of our treasury
3. Would NOT consider compromise in Iraq to help to reunite the parties of America
4. Only considered compromise when their personal reelection was at stake. Support the troops? No way--Use the troops, support the GOP. THAT is the message. Now, must go to work. have fun and play nice--and try not to feed the trolls--they really are paid to get people off topic and to distract. - Reply to this comment

Bush Light Bulb Joke
Q: How many Bush Administration officials does it take to screw in a light bulb?
A: None. There is nothing wrong with the light bulb; it's conditions are improving every day. Any reports of its lack of incandescence are delusional spin from the liberal media. That light bulb has served honorably, and anything you say undermines the lighting effect. Why do you hate freedom?- Reply to this comment

I don't know what happened on 9/11/01, but I don't think it was exactly what we were told. Why the lies took place and who was involved, I don't know. But there are too many contradictions and physical impossibilities in the "official" explanation for it to be completely the true one, and too much tampering with evidence and witnesses immediately after the attacks for the "investigation" to be credible.
I read a poll recently which stated that about half of Americans believe we were not told the complete truth about 9/11, and about 30% believe the US was in some way involved. It's no longer a "lunatic fringe" movement that doubts the administration's story.
And Mudrose, there is a good deal of irony in your calling democrats "lockstep trolls" and then telling someone who is making jokes about Bush that they are "being watched".
By whom? Big Brother George? If the NeoCons actually do operate surveillance on people who make jokes about them, and you support them, who is the "lockstep troll"? Is that really the sort of government you want? - Reply to this comment
