Small Group Of Student Protesters Greet Embattled AG At Law School
- LOL! A well deserved slap in the face to Gonzo! * say cheese, the protesters yelled: say torture, instead, resign and I don't recall. * That was rich! I wish I could have been there to see it. Maybe that is why you rarely see anyone from the Bush administration at events that are uncontrolled and contain more than their cheerleaders and bootlickers. They want the audience filled with then same kind of people that the CHIMP surrounds himself with, YES MEN!

- perception5,
Reagan didn't bring down Communism, Communism brought itself down and Gorbachev and Yeltzen were the catalyst. Reagan just took credit for it like he did everything. - Reply to this comment
- Time for a war tax to pay as you go for this war. it will be extremely popular with Republicans as it will be a chance for each to put their money where their mouths are. Time for all Americans to begin to suffer and pay the price for this war of choice besides with bumper stickers, letters and cookies from elementary classes.
Republicans particularly will not protest this special tax which will continue as long as the war is being fought in Iraq and will NOT increase our deficit since it will be coming out of each of our pockets each year until the war ends. Let's see...how much would that be--to really show we are willing to sacrifice for the troops? 2500.00/year per family? or should it be more if we make more...How about a 10% increase above the 2.5K for everyone making over 35K/year? A hardship? Sure--but as every American knows--war is hell and we all must do our part--plus we don't want a debt from a war of choice on our children now do we? Please feel free to forward this to your Congressmen and ask that it be introduced as a bill. Then we will see, if having a war and sacrificing for it is really what Americans want to do--or if it is only something they want others to do for them. - Reply to this comment
- So here's Reagan, who MOST people, credit with hundreds of millions of people being free today in the old Soviet Union and Eastern Europe being protested by rich white liberals snobs at Harvard.............this and they are a disgrace to this great nation.................. really sad indeed

MOST people does not mean the Republican base--as far as I know--they are the only people to give Reagan that honor and accolade. MOST people (Meaning all the rest except for the GOP) credit good ol' capitalism working its magic and influencing the collapse of the Soviet Union as well as the about face we saw in Vietnam--as for Reagan--lucky him--he happened to be President when it all happened--but he did not cause it any more than Katrina was caused by George Bush or the cold war was caused by Roosevelt. Global Things happen--smart people realize that often, those in charge have very little to do with those things when it involves complex social dynamics. But just so you feel better, you can name specifically, what Reagan did or said that caused the Soviet Union to collapse.
Good luck with that. - Reply to this comment
- If the President and Gonzales do not have enough shame to resign or honor to realize when they have compromised their jobs--maybe it is time for the American people to shame them. Kudos to the crowd at Harvard. Everywhere they go--Americans should have the bravery to hound them and let them know they are not wanted, that failing to produce documents and papers after a subpoena are NOT condoned-- We should ridicule them until they understand that THEY and only THEY have undermined their positions and that the only way to remedy it is to resign. Realistically though, look for Gonzo to resort to planned photo ops and fixed, adoring crowds like Bush has to.

- Is there one honest lawyer in Texas with the guts to file an ethics complaint against Gonzo with the Texas Bar? Just one?

Every American should see the Moyers report
from last week, documenting how our "liberal"
press totally rubberstamped him on Iraq and
failed their mission of true information.
You can watch it on your computer;

You won't be getting up once you start into it,
it's riveting. Pass the link on please -- Reply to this comment
