For a female president a "MARGARET THATCHER" type would do fine.

She failed, along with the rest of Congress. posted by jjp735i

If I remember distinctly any politician who would not go for Bush's invasion ideas was branded Anti-American and UnPatriotic by Republican's! To object to the idea was to commit Political Suicide! If you knew it was a mistake why didn't you speak up and say something?????? I did but was a voice crying in the wilderness of superpatriot's who wanted revenge on anyone including someone who didn't do it! The Republican used the old reliable McCarthy style rhetoric to sell their bad idea! You should have watched Bill Moyer's "Selling the War" on PBS last week! So I don't really know how you or anyone else can fault anyone who voted for the war! The bottom line is the fault still can be laid on a small group of people's doorstep! They fixed the intelligence then went about selling it like a bunch of used car salesmen they are!

Hillary understands the complexity of the Iraq problem, the health coverage problem, the problem of raping the poor for the benefit of the rich, the problem of political appointees who are not qualified for the job (Other than Gates, name one Bush cabinet person of stature)and that the Nation that Bill handed to Bush has been tarnished, but not destroyed.
Hillary is eloquence. If you haven't been listening to her, you should. She has a strong feminine voice that delivers coherent thoughts. "A coherent thought from a President?," what joy it gives me to think of such a treat.c

VOTE FOR ANYONE BUT A REPUBLICAN EVEN SCOOBIE DO WOULD BE BETTER FOR AMERICA THAN BUSH CHENEY

Well...I kinda like to think for myself. And last I heard, Bush and Cheney are not running in '08. I'll vote for someone who wants to "seriously" protect me and my family, who wants to protect my property...my way of life, and won't tax me to death. I also sorta want someone with a little morality in the highest office. And come to think of it...Scoobie Doo is at least good hearted, I'd vote for Scoobie over most of the contenders at this point.

""They're looking for someone literally, not figuratively, to restore America's place in the world." (Joe Biden)

I suppose we will restore our "place in the world" through more wars? Through more foreign aid spending? It sounds like Hitler, restore our "place in the world". What is that, a new crusade.

How about these sick, perverted, violent Democrats pledge instead to restore the humility and constitutional limits of the office of the president. No such luck. The perverted, warmongering Democrats have caught the scent of blood and are ready for war. Like John Kerry, they are 100% for war, just somehow they will do it better thna Bush. Right.

Democrat Hillary Rodham Clinton denounced President George W. Bush on Saturday for his "Mission Accomplished" speech and said his conduct of the Iraq war was "one of the darkest blots on leadership we've ever had."

Hmm! Hillary needs to clean her own black pot of blots before I will trust her.

I feel like she will say anything for votes. Like most politicians...she just wants to get elected. Did anyone hear that speach where she was talking to a lot of black people...and she was trying to "sound" black"? ***? I have no problem with a woman being president...nor do I have a race or religious issue with someone being president....but please, can't we find someone with a little integrity?
