You keep going back to the twin towers and Iraq, you keep asking how withdrawing from Iraq will help...blah blah blah. It seems to me you speak much like a bush and his cronies. You answer a question with a question. You can't simply answer a question. You just evade the questions.

Here it is: Iraq did not cause and had no hand in 9/11. Al Queda is was not in Iraq on 9/11/2001. Only did Al Queda appear in Iraq after the US invaded. Do you know why Al Queda doesn't have to attack on American soil? Thats an easy question. They don't have to come here because Bush is sending a steady stream of americans to them. I mean think about it, all they have to do now, since they are in Iraq, is walk down the street with a bomb strapped to their back and look for american military uniforms...then BOOOM dead americans. So why would they risk coming to america when they can kill over there?

I love America. The 9/11 attacks were truly the most devastating events of my lifetime. I don't agree with the war in Iraq or the Iraqi freedom at this time. After the 9/11 attacks our focus should have been in Afghanistan. We still have not found Osama Bin Laden. While searching for him and maybe after his capture, then the United States could have focused more on the "War on Terror." How often do we hear about Afghanistan? I think it is a timing issue. When the focus was put in Iraq, Saddam was caught. With the great amount of loss on 9/11 and lost of lives everyday since the US invaded Iraq, how can Bush justify this war? The US as a whole has a lot of preparing to do in case of a future attack, and should not the billions of dollars being spent on the war in Iraq be used for that benefit? If we pull out next year, are they saying the US will not be in a position to defend itself or help our allies when needed. I am grateful for every branch of the military that is fighting for our freedom and I believe in every last one of them. This war is wrong at this time and Giuliani is misinformed if he believes a party can stop terrorists. Peace to All and GOD bless.

At the end of the day, Americans no longer support this phony war. Nothing is going to change that.

duhrer, so I guess according to your philosophy it's truly time to give up and stop all this fighting back nonsense. Your opinions are music to the radicals ears. Look whether Al Qaeda was in iraq when the conflict started is immaterial as they are there now and fighting. Either we fight or we surrender. If we surrender, what makes you think it would result in a better outcome for Americans our families and children. Do you think radicla militants give a hoot about whether or not your sympathetic to there cause or plight? No they just want to purge the infidels from there world according to Allah, it's time you people stop the denial and wake up to the threat radical Islam poses!

"...tell me again how retreat will signal the radicals that it will be time to make nice?" Posted by notblue
I'm not going to tell you "again" anything I haven't told you in the first place. I will tell you that the Iraq conflict only helps the terrorists cause. I will tell you again that I believe the resources wasted in Iraq are better spend on securing the homeland. And the reason I would suggest that we need to secure the homeland, is because I don't think the terrorists will be ready to "make nice" if we leave Iraq, if we stay in Iraq or if we bomb Iran and North Korea as I presume you would have us do. I'm all for hunting them down and killing them where they live, but I believe as much of our resources as possible should be spent on defense and not some phone war that is more of a distraction in the "war on terror" than anything. News flash... Bind Laden is not in Iraq either... By the way, Jessica Lynch has criticized the Army for lying. It's time to question her patriotism too...

Tired and pathetic. Thank you though for proving my point for me. Childish to even below 4th grade. This is what anyone here will get if the try to have an adult conversation with the right wing trolls here like this one or notblue or lars008 and on and on. To them this is all just one big game and they don't care, because they're unable to grasp the fact, that real human beings are dying. To them this is no different then a video game. Score points and win, but in this world the dead soldiers don't get back up when you reset the game. Their limbs don't re-attach themselves and their head wounds don't automatically heal themselves. They can't grasp what real death is, so they change it all into a childish game.

Bah, I have real world things to do, so I'll leave them to their virtual world where it's all sunshine and flowers for them and death for everyone else. They're not worth wasting time on and I'd advise any other rational person here to ignore them too.

notblue, and others like you. I know you weren't paying attention when they announced it over and over again that there were no links between Iraq and 9/11. It's like speaking to politically retarded people. Pulling out of Iraq won't help fight terrorism, but neither will staying there, since terrorists against America would want to strike here. You think a war over in Iraq is preventing them from coming here? They don't need to. They just wait for our own home-grown terrorists to do the work for them. Americans are dying in Iraq for the slimmest reasons and forget about Afghanistan, we've just let them grow all over there.

Again, see what I mean? Childish and stupid. I mean what's next? Fa*rt jokes? How about the classic "I know you are but what am I!" or "I'm rubber and you're glue!". It's like trying to debate life and death with name calling 4th graders. This one should change his log on name to Pee Wee Herman, except that Pee Wee was actually funny and didn't kill anyone, unlike trolls like this.
