Senate Democrat Reacts After VP Accuses Him Of Playing Politics With Iraq Funding
- "Had 9/11 not occured, Bush would not have done a US military thing to Iraq"
WRONG. Bush had military plans for Iraq before even being sworn in.
Dems talked about Iraq buying yellow cake from Niger pre-Bush? Also wrong. - Reply to this comment
- Attack dog? Is that what our VP was doing on 9/11?

- The FACT is Congress did have access to the EXACT same information as our President.

EXACTLY you are 100% CORRECT. Congress had access to the same imformation that the um president had. The same bull$hit trumped up LIES that um the President knew were lies. Big difference when you know they are BS. Most in Congress silly them believed in honestly, they had no clue what a con man and liar Bush and Co could be. - Reply to this comment
- "corrupt liberal MSM wolfpack"
Keep believing that if it justifies your belief in your corrupt president. But if it wasn't for the so-called liberal media, Bush would have been impeached long ago. But the media is too busy protecting Bush by never following up on any of his corruption. - Reply to this comment
- Withdrawing from Iraq sounds good, but what then? Time and history won't stop just because US forces leave. Will Iraq collapse completely? Can the world's economy do without its oil? If the war is "lost," who takes over there? Iran or al Qaida? If the whole region was disruoted, would US troops have to go back? The pro-withdrawal people in the Senate, House and on the campaign trail never talk about the consequences of withdrawal, and the press lets them off the hook. I'd vote for one of them, if they had answers, but they don't.

- Hey pwrslm,
I think we should bring back our troops and send you over to Iraq in their place.
After 30 minutes of the insurgents listening to your drivel, they'll all blow themselves up.
And if we're really lucky, we won't have to listen to your incessant whining here at CBS. - Reply to this comment
- "No, sorry...can't get off that easy. If it was a republican, you'd be calling for a beheading. He needs to be investigated and he needs to step down while the investigation is under way."
Naw, Americans are used to politcians scamming money. Being elected to office is just a money making scheme. Now we are on to bigger and better crimes thanks to Bush. - Reply to this comment
- Bottom line is millions of Americans are living a LIE forced on them by corrupt Dems in Congress lying and then their pals in our corrupt liberal MSM wolfpack just printing their lying stories and repeating them OVER and OVER again.
America has a media that is similar in everyway to Germany's during the late 1930's...... - Reply to this comment
- Rafterman1,
I don't think you should be referring to Clinton and "back door" in the same post. It could lead to trouble! :)
And you are incorrect. I heard the dems (Hillary, Kerry, Kennedy, even Boxer and Feinstein, talking about WMD's, yellow cake, nuke development, etc.) That's before Bush was even elected. Had 9/11 not occured, Bush would not have done a US military thing to Iraq. - Reply to this comment
- And despite the lie that Dems had the "same intelligence", that is false. Dems had what Bush wanted them to see.

.... Rafterman1, busy out here lying again today...... Congress has the oversite of our intelligence agencies.........and it was Clinton appointee George Tenet of the CIA who told our President that it was a "Slam dunk that Iraq has WMD's.

- "Oh wow glad you said that, I thought it was just me!"
As I said, the righties are starting to get to the point of becoming hysterical in defending the Bush crimes. They're just babbling now :) - Reply to this comment
- Yeah, Yeah,
Reid did something shady with his taxes. So, fine him and move one.

- "Wow....guess the dems must be guilty of that, as well....they were all mouthing the same "intelligence" Bush had as far back as '98. I heard them with my own ears.....so it's not heresay."
But Clinton did not go to war, citing false evidence, did he? Clinton authorized regime change via backdoor methods - the proper way to do it. Dems just went along with what Bush said. And despite the lie that Dems had the "same intelligence", that is false. Dems had what Bush wanted them to see. - Reply to this comment

- It's too bad Bush decided to destoy his presidency by invading Iraq illegally. There are some things I like Bush on. He's spent more money in Africa than any other president and I like his stance on expanding the space program and going to Mars.
But no matter what good things Bush does, it will be cancelled out by Iraq, pi$$-poor effort with Katrina and cronyism. - Reply to this comment
- Now's there's a more accurate quote.

Nobody died.
Not presidential material, or even Vice-Presidential. He's a barking, yapping smooth mouth Toy Poodle at your grandchild's heels, would you rather have the Rottweiler?

- "Oh cool. Now your a liar too. Why dont you document this lie, prove that your more than a wanna be gossiper spreading BS around."
The CIA told Bush that the Iraqi yellowcake story was false, but Bush still used it in his SOTU speech. It's already been established how intelligence was selectively chosen by the Bush administration. So, nice try.

- It's hilarious watching righties almost become hysterical trying to redirect the spotlight from the Bush adminstration crimes. Much like the Nazis seeing the Russians at the gates of Berlin and realizing it was over, the Republicans are gong "last ditch" to try and save their power base. Sorry. Just like with the Nazis, no new wonder weapon is going to save the Republicans.
Another hilarious thing is that while it took 30 years for people to get sick of the Democrats, the Republicans managed to pi$$ off everybody in just 14. - Reply to this comment
