"It shows for one that "All Cultures are the Same" is a lie hoisted [sic] [he meant "foisted", folks...] upon our citizens by Leftists, such as you. No, we are superior, because we are decent."

I knew tha "Master Culture" theory was luurking there somewhere.

Here's one of the chief "hoisters" of "All Cultures are Same":

"President%u2019s Ramadan Message, 2006
September 22, 2006

I send greetings to the many Muslims observing Ramadan in America and around the world.

Ramadan is the holiest time of the Muslim year and an important holiday when Muslims take time for prayer, fasting, and personal sacrifice. According to Islamic teachings, this month represents when God delivered His word to the prophet Muhammad in the form of the Qur'an. Ramadan is also an opportunity to gather with friends and family and show thanks for God's blessings through works of charity.

Ramadan and the upcoming holiday seasons are a good time to remember the common values that bind us together. Our society is enriched by our Muslim citizens whose commitment to faith reminds us of the gift of religious freedom in our country.

Laura and I send our best wishes for a blessed Ramadan. Ramadan Mubarak."

GEORGE W. BUSH

You are ignoring the facts. Major Al Quada leaders have been caught, major plans for terror have been disrupted, safe haven camps for training are no more, what is wrong with that ? The disorganized intrafraternal chaos is a reflection of our success, not our failure. It shows for one that "All Cultures are the Same" is a lie hoisted upon our citizens by Leftists, such as you. No, we are superior, because we are decent.

There weren't any "safe havens for terrorists in Iraq" you moron! That was a lie! Saddam hated bin Laden almost as much as he was pis*sed at us for turning on him after the 80's. He had al-Qaeda members shot on sight! Bush took away one of bin Laden's biggest enemies when he invaded Iraq! Real smart!

"Bush just gave a speech the other day, where he claims he just read 3 new books about George Washington..."

I am not sure Bush can even read.

Bush and his few remaining supporters are fresh out of convincing or credible reasons for continuing this war without any timetables or deadlines.

They're reduced to "Bumper Sticker Patriotism" and egregiously bad logic, like "the war in Iraq is preventing future 9/11s."

(Yeah, and umbrellas prevent droughts too. You always see them when it's raining.)

And it's only about Bush saving face at this point. Nothing else. Just Bush saving face.

And that is not a cause anyone should be willing to die for.

The idea that Bush has sealed the borders of Iraq so completely that a dozen terrorists couldn't get out and stage another terrorist attack, is laughably idiotic.

Bush can't even protect the border with Mexico.

Credit increased airport security for your safety since 9/11.

And for your complacency and your false sense of security, HAMILTONGRAD.

"Have you given any credit at all , that we have not been attacked since 2001 here, and that 100 % reason is that we are in Iraq fighting them there !"

What nonsense.

We haven't been attacked because security around the world, especially in the airports, has been increased tremendously since 9/11.

That's why.

raNDAL dENTIST:
HAve you forgotten that we were attacked by Islamic extremist ? Does it occur to you that we are fighting and killing the same drawn into our web in Iraq and also gather information about their plans ? Have you given any credit at all , that we have not been attacked since 2001 here, and that 100 % reason is that we are in Iraq fighting them there ! You have no idea how successful our efforts have been. If left wing nuts like you succeed, we will have a diaster here - is that what you want ?

Has it ever occurred to you to pull your head out of Bush's as*s and realize that (finally!) that Iraq had nothing to do with 9-11? Or did you already forget that? By the way, when does your unit ship out for the war? Soon I hope since you're so obviously enthusiastic about the whole thing. Rah Rah! Right?

"Why don't the Iraqis mark their calendars and start protecting their country?"

Because they've never been given a hard and fast deadline by which to do it.

How many difficult and painful tasks ever get done without a deadline ?

Very few, and Iraq now going into its 5th year of war, is one more example of this.

No timetable, no money. Just keep sending it back and then the troops will have to come home from this disastrous illegal war.A civil war cannot be won. Americans have sacrificed enough.
