"I'm not going to get into a name calling match with the administration's chief attack dog," Reid said.

Condemn the dog, not the breed, Senator.

Wait a second... in this case the breed is Neocon C*ockapoo (Mixed Breed).

Go ahead, condemn the breed as well.

"It is cynical to declare that the war is lost because you believe it gives you political advantage," Cheney said.

Translation: "It's much better to gain political advantage by calling for a military victory in Iraq, even after General Petraeus said that isn't possible."

Harry Reid calls D*ick Cheney a dog.

What an insult to dogs !!

"It is cynical to declare that the war is lost because you believe it gives you political advantage," Cheney said, after attending the weekly Republican policy lunch on Capitol Hill.

Reid, D-Nevada, dismissed Cheney's remarks later to reporters, but not before getting in his own dig at the vice president.

"I'm not going to get into a name calling match with the administration's chief attack dog," Reid said.

raNDAL dENTIST:
HAve you forgotten that we were attacked by Islamic extremist ? Does it occur to you that we are fighting and killing the same drawn into our web in Iraq and also gather information about their plans ? Have you given any credit at all , that we have not been attacked since 2001 here, and that 100 % reason is that we are in Iraq fighting them there ! You have no idea how successful our efforts have been. If left wing nuts like you succeed, we will have a diaster here - is that what you want ?

Bush Says: The enemy would simply mark their calendars and begin plotting to take over the country.

I'm still waiting for a Bush supporter to explain why the pro-democracy forces of the Iraqi government couldn't simply mark their calendars as well, and begin planning to suppress the insurgents completely at that point.

I mean, how much money and aid have they received from America in the last three years ?

Bush Says: The enemy would simply mark their calendars and begin plotting to take over the country.

IT dont matter if we leave Iraq today, six months, or two years from now. The result will be the same, THE ENEMY WILL BEGIN PLOTTING TO TAKE OVER THE COUNTRY, thats exactly what they are doing now.....................

Bush is like his supporters.... They have no idea who the enemy really is so how can they win. When you look back at the point the nation was attacked, from that point forward, this jerk sought to exploit this terrible event and they have. They have not tried to honor what the nation is about, our PEOPLE, but instead have used division and hatreds to govern. Not such a good thing when you are fighting people like Bin Laden.

"As the saying goes: If you cannot stand behind our troops, feel free to stand in front of them."

When all else fails, take the troops and their families hostage to protect Bush and his war.

Please read this letter from an AMERICAN SOLDIER that served in IRAQ, just 5 minutes if not less of your time

LOL, you're a genuine nutcase. But if the Left wants to commit treason against this country and unite with our terrorist enemies and help their cause, they will get the same treatment. As the saying goes: If you cannot stand behind our troops, feel free to stand in front of them.

["What are you whining about? That we'd be willing to destroy an enemy who wants to destroy us?"Admiral Yammamoto's words to his critics on the eve of Pearl Harbor.Posted by Iceman_1960]

And my statement is wrong because....?

ARE YOU absolutely INSANE? 70% of us say this was a bad idea, a deception by ONE man, GEORGE BUSH and YOU have the Nerve to post something like this. Now Sparky you either AGREE that WE the PEOPLE are in charge or you have to admit YOU want a KING. Enough of this garbage! It's been over 4 long years, when this LIAR told us 6 months at worst. NOTHING I've been told about the whole mess has been accurate. Now with all that in mind you probably want me to blame the 70% which contains the percentage of folks, my neighbors, who were right all along. No thank's Sparky. YOU keep your swastika, I'll honor my neighbor. Sieg Heil and Amen.

"The enemy would simply mark their calendars and begin plotting to take over the country."

Bush seriously believes that the enemy thinks U.S. troops might be planning to stay in Iraq forever.

That's the only way his statement makes sense.

Like they say, Bush is stupid.

What makes me sick is the right wingers claim that they "support the troops" in this debacle. They're over there dying in a war of choice that's was based on lies. Supporting the troops would be getting them the hell out of this meat grinder where they are dying in VAIN. For Nothing! Every person who still supports this idiotic president and his new Middle-East crusade does not support the troops, they support the deaths of the troops and nothing else. Every person who still supports this war is as big of a murderer of the troops as Bush is. Every soldier that dies in Iraq leaves their blood on the hands of Bush and his supporters. They killed these troops themselves as if they'd stood them against a wall and shot each one of them in the head. THAT'S their "supporting the troops", by killing them. Every single one of Bush's supporters are no better then a new Charles Manson, but more prolific in their mass murders.

A simple face-saving "out" for Bush would be for him to address the American people in prime time and say, "We need to stay in Iraq, but it's going to cost money. We can't saddle future generations with this debt.

Therefore, I am proposing to Congress that taxes be raised 35% across the board to pay for the war.

If the Congress OKs the increase, as I know they will when the voters besiege their elected representatives and tell them that any other course of action would be tantamount to surrender, we will continue the war.

Otherwise, I will be forced to withdraw the troops, and the responsibility for failure will rest with Congress.

Good night, and may God bless America."

It seems as though the Fascist and George Bush are determined to tear this nation apart rather than admit one man is a failure. There HAS to be some compromise here and it appears to me that the Democrats proposal is just that. I know Bush isn't capable of going in to many other directions but we need a Statesman right now folks and NOT a IDIOT who continues to blow people up. The MORE people who get blown up the harder it becomes to get the two sides to come together. As long as they DO NOT understand that we are leaving they have NO reason to compromise. It's like having Pat Robertson, Jerry Falwell, and the rest of the Religious Reigh at each others throat for POWER. They aren't going to compromise their position UNTIL they see they could lose it all. The point is though, that we have a Dictator instead of a President right now. A man, even after the Elections, continues to defy the will of the people AND refuses to compromise. Now IF the Republican Party wants to ever govern again it's time they stepped forward. This is about the NATION and our UNITY. Without that we are no different than any other third rate country.

Bush SHOULD HAVE read "A Bright Shining Lie: John Paul Vann and America in Vietnam"

- Neil Sheehan's account of the falsehoods that kept us "staying the course" in Vietnam.

How long is politics going to continue to put up with the present president is really a concern of mine. His comments on the Iraqui civil war are so far from those of an in-touch rational person. He stoops low by blaming others for his inadequacies, even tries to incorporate words like "prayer" while being deceiteful. One thing's for sure: There is nothing hidden that won't be revealed, nor covered that won't be uncovered. However, it is up to the eyes that look upon to identify the visable objects.

"I'm disappointed that the Democratic leadership has chosen this course," Bush said."

Then you must be disappointed with the American people sir. Did you not get the e mail after the november election? It's your Stay the Course we don't want. The voters spoke, sorry you didn't listen.

"Bush just gave a speech the other day, where he claims he just read 3 new books about George Washington..."

Did any of them contain this quote ?

"Guard against the impostures of pretended patriotism." (President Washington's Farewell Address, 1796)

But Bush wouldn't understand those big words.
