Since that this administration has lost all credibility, where do we go from here? Nixon did the honorable thing and resigned. Can we expect this Right Wing Cabal to do the honorable thing? - Reply to this comment

- The Bush/Cheney criminal regime is so corrupt that any investigation into their activities is destined to unravel the empire.

Is it really a wayyy out conspiracy theory ?
Just google "Operation Northwoods". Are you sure Bush & CO would have rejected a new "Lemnitzer's plan "?- Reply to this comment

Get help. Christianity is not to blame for every wrong done on Earth. Tell me exactly where you find in the Bible that Jesus was for killing Arabs and for lying and coverups if you are against abortion and gay marriage? I want exact chapter numbers, verse numbers, version of Bible and page numbers. I'm waiting......."

Goodling%u2019s religious-toned resignation letter should come as no surprise. It turns out that she is an alum of Regent University School of Law, a Christian institution founded by televangelist Pat Robertson which is ranked by U.S. News and World Report as the 136th-best law school in the nation (other rankings are only slightly more kind). Savage reports that Regent became a feeder school for executive branch positions after the Bush administration in 2001 "picked the dean of Regent's government school, Kay Coles James, to be the director of the Office of Personnel Management %u2014 essentially the head of human resources for the executive branch."
Please forgive me for asking, I just haven%u2019t been able to get an answer to my question:
Does anyone know if my tax dollars are being used to support Regent University School of Law, a Christian institution founded by televangelist Pat Robertson? Would it be as part of a "Faith Based Initiative"? If so, please tell me?

- Although he's a joke, he's a sad and deadly joke; real people are dying because of the sociopath-in-chief's "Daddy" issues and his listening to the perverts at PNAC. Once he's gone, hopefully after having been impeached, I'll enjoy the comparison between our former president and Alfred E. Newmann. Of course, Newmann would be insulted by the comparison, unless it were restricted to a comparison of physical appearances. Newmann had standards, after all.

- If the emails are really gone, it's a smoking gun like Nixon's accidentally erased Watergate tapes. It turned out that they had been "accidentally" erased 15-18 times. If those emails really are irretrievable, their deletion is a 21st Century version of many, many more than 15-18 accidental erasures. It couldn't have happened because someone accidentally clicked the delete button, simply deleting email just doesn't get rid of them that way, it just doesn't work that way. Getting rid of them completely and irretrievably would have required a gargantuan effort. If they're gone, they're gone intentionally and someone had to be willing to devote a massive effort, involving a great deal of time and effort by experts to make them really gone, forever.

- "We're being very honest and forthcoming," she added. "I hope that he would understand the spirit in which we have come forward and tried to explain how we screwed up our policy and how we're working to fix it. said spokeswoman Dana Perino.
This broad lies also f*ck the spirit and her also. - Reply to this comment
They fired Lam to obstruct justice; she had convicted Duke Cunningham and stood poised to indict the rest of the cronies (Rep. Jerry Lewis, Dusty Fogge, etc.). They fired Iglesias because he refused to cave to the pressure an honorable U.S. Senator and U.S. Representative sought to bring in a blatant politicizing of the judicial process. Now they take the 5th to avoid testimony, lie through their teeth about the nature of the program, and deliberately destroy any evidence to the contrary. All of the above acts make a mockery of the constitution, and seem to be impeachable offenses.

- If all Leahy is going to do is threaten to subpoena, while letting Conyers do the actual work---he need to stop with the threats. And since there is obviously something to hide (and probably criminal judging by Goodlings actions) it is stupid to ecpect them ever to produce the emails. When you are "N-2-DEEP as Bush and his cabal is--what are a few withheld emails or scrubbed hard drives compared to impeachment, and prison? Odds are there are some really ugly secrets and my guess is due to how the GOP and the Republican portion of Congress still tow the line--I'm betting they all know and are trying to protect something.
Here is a wayyy out conspiracy theory--suppose they found out that Bush/Cheney did do 9/11 to make excuses to invade Iraq. I'm sure that the Republicans would be reminded that if Bush falls, due to their rubberstamping the entire party would fall--never to recover. So just like incest--everyone does their part to keep the dirty secret. And mavericks like Hagel are not even let in the loop. It is all or nothing for the GOP, they are already on the ropes, they don't dare not continue their trek into Bush hell, arms linked and hope that some understaffer has not made hard copy and has an attack of conscience that puts things in the Dem's hands.
If only Monica would talk--but she follows Jim Jones ala Bush and nothing is more deadly and more blind than those who follow a cult. - Reply to this comment

- Personally, I wouldn't believe Bush or Cheney if they said that rain was wet.
Bush is clearly too stupid to know rain when it falls on him and Cheney would lie about it out of sheer habit. - Reply to this comment
- I know Bush reminds us all of, well, some unlikeable characters, ha, but, doesn't he also remind you of Alfred E. Newmann? ha
