Comments on: Pelosi Tours Jerusalem's Holy Sites
Amidst Criticism House Speaker Leads Delegation To Middle East
- ANOTHER PRIME EXAMPLE of the typical cunning DEMONcrats at "work". This conniving -itch pelosi now takes her second trip to Israel with her thieving little entourage at taxpayers expense AGAIN! Not so she could do anything beneficial for the country, but because she simply wanted another trip before Easter to the Holy Land. I hope this instigating traitor -itch melts on the Via Dolorosa in Jerusalem!

Pardon but your ignorance is showing in regards to Syria and Iran. Please, do educate yourself a little by looking up Alawite. - Reply to this comment
- KCstan,
I am a Christian but not like the idiots on here who slur the Islamic religion. I believe first anf foremost in respecting all faiths. I was reacting to the "stinking Jews" comment, not the politics of Palestine.
Regarding Palestine,I believe that land was stolen from the Palestinians and I agree with most of what former President Carter has to say in his book, "Peace Not Apartheid."
I understand Islamic anger but I also believe that name calling and violence will never resolve the conflicts of the middle east. People on all sides who love peace and justice have to negotiate a just coexistence.
That will require better from all sides then what the politicans have delivered. Violence and hatred only justifies and maintains the status quo and that doesn't benefit the Palestinian cause. - Reply to this comment
- When Israel became a "state"---or nation---they tried hard to become friends with their Arab neighbors, especially through David ben Gurion. They even tried to share their knowledge of agriculture (and irrigation) with their Arab neighbors---but their Arab neighbors wanted no part of it. They were mostly bedouins, living in tents, when Israel became a nation. And instead of cooperating with Israel, they would wait til nightfall and go into the fields of Israel and STEAL the crops for themselves---rather than learning how to grow crops themselves. Basically, the Arabs "war" with Israel, in 1948, was a "pride thing". So, Israel shared their irrigation knowledge with the U.S.---which we still use today.

- And, I don't care if you agree with me or not.

Not much chance of that if you think pushing religion in a news message board is reasonable or appropriate.
There are venues for such activity, like church. I am not in church, thank you. - Reply to this comment

- I don't believe I have once shoved religion down anyones throat. I made a statement by making observations and I disagreed with you.

If you are a believer who respects other's rights to not want anything to do with your kool-aid, good for you.
I have idiots knocking on my door every week trying to sell me one kool-aid or another.
Singingrick is the worst offender of all here in that regard. Whatever the topic, he brings religion into it. - Reply to this comment

- I have been visiting the cbs post for about 2 weeks now and I have seen Christians blamed for just about all the ills in the world.

Gee, I wonder why that might be, eh? Maybe because Christians feel their kool-aid is better than anyone else's and try to pour it down everyone else's throats? - Reply to this comment
- So, I can't say I agree with you.

Whether you agree with me or not does not change the fact that this is a secular site, not a platform for proselytizing.
Frankly, I couldn't care less whether you agree with me or not. Save the preaching for church where it's welcome and others wish to hear such drivel. - Reply to this comment
