One of the recommmedations fromthe Iraq Study group was to engage prinicipals in this region, not limited to those GW Bush approves of. You might not that in December of last year Senators Arlen Specter, Bill Nelson, Christopher Dodd and John Kerry visited Syria, as well. To hide your head in your sand or hold your breath until you're blue in the face, like our current administration, does nothing to further dialogue.

I for one don't mind you talking about your faith because my Christian faith also guides my beliefs,although in a different direction. You have every right to express your faith and how it guides your political conclusions.

What makes paople feel like you're pushing it down their throats is the intolerence toward other faiths. Who are you to judge Islam to be a false religion? You have every right to believe that but bear in mind there's a reason why it's called faith...it's not science, it's not indisputable fact.

Jesus didn't teach intolence of anyone but taught us to love one another. He told us there's 1 way to heaven through acceptance of him but he never preached to not love those who didn't accept the Gospel. Love your neighbor was his central teaching.

I truly hope Nancy Pelosi is trying to be an honest broker in the Middle East and not just taking Israeli views on everything. No doubt the Israelis are trying to ensure her views are in line with theirs in every respect. I hope she resists this temptation and puts Americas interest first. Then honestly represents the views of the other millions of good people in the Middle East also.

If you follow the money trail you will find that most of those elected officials who support the war in Iraq are under the influence of AIPAC.
