Comments on: Pelosi Travels, Controversially, To Syria
Speaker Will Go To Country That Bush Administration Has Refused To Engage Diplomatically
- LiberalVet, I apologize profusely. I noticed that last part of your post after posting my hasty response to the lunacy. Definitely my bad.

- Not only does AP ignore the fact that Republican Reps. Aderholt and Wolf are currently visiting Syria, it also forgets to mention that Republican Rep. Hobson (OH) is travelling to Syria with Pelosi's group.
Bad AP, Bad. - Reply to this comment
- Here we go again. Lieberman18 aka LiberalVet, once again double posting her usual "You go girl" under crater7, yet another pseudonym. How do you come up with them all, girl? I'm guessing jwhitmann is you too. It's a schizophrenic thing, isn't it?

Pakaal--- Why are you attacking me? I have never had anything in common with the individuals you are lumping me in with. Especially the scumbag Lieberman18. I do not understand what I have done to you but you are dead wrong on this one. I am willing to over look it and go on, but please do not ever lump me in that trash barrel. - Reply to this comment
- "enforcing the worship of a single GOD no matter if we believe in that GOD or not."
Tell it to those who want to force Bible studies and prayers in our public schools. - Reply to this comment

- The whitehouse has a lot of nerve trying to dictate to Congress; no one has appointed Bush dictator in chief. And that's just as well, given his foreign policy record that has led us to one disaster after another. We're still trying to dig our way out of his Iraq war.

- Riiight, the White House is annoyed with Pelosi for taking a trip to Syria.
Funny how the same White House has nothing to say about the Republican contingent including Rep. Robert Aderholt (R-AL) Rep. Frank Wolf (R-VA) and staff who are ALREADY THERE RIGHT NOW! Not to mention that U.S. Assistant Secretary of State Ellen Sauerbrey held talks with a senior Syrian diplomat earlier this month!
The stupidity of the Bush Administration is reproven on a daily basis. Welcome to today's serving. - Reply to this comment

- Pelosi should stay in Syria.
She has more in common with them than the USA

Syria's desire is to destroy democracy and the U.S. constitution, while rolling back all our citizens freedoms and enforcing the worship of a single GOD no matter if we believe in that GOD or not.
Well that sounds more like the desires of George Bush than Nancy Pelosi. You my friend have your wires crossed and your ideas out in right field.... - Reply to this comment

- Attitudes like BIGDADPATRIO at 5:54 PM are the reason why the U.S. keeps finding itself involved in ENDLESS WARS around the globe.

- Bush and his MSM pals obviously can't stand it that SOMEONE is finally doing something about the recommendations of the Iraqi study group ( a bi-partisan group by the way).

- All you right wingers are so pizzed off about her visiting Syria. Just think how pizzed off you will be if Bush and Cheney get impeached and you have to call her Mrs President.......
We have a long way to go to that day and it may never happen, but it is getting to be a stronger possiblity every day.....
Just food for thought...ROTFLMAO - Reply to this comment

- rohink, you are such a hypocrite. How about YOUR
"the correct spelling is impressively. I learned how to spell that in the fourth grade." and your
"Is she bringing her pack of grandchildren with her so she can show the Arab world what a multi-tasker she is?" These are only 2. And YOU talk about people insulting others. Typical liberal hypocrite..... - Reply to this comment
- As an independent reading these responses, I have become educated at how uneducated republicans really are!

- Earlier this year, a bipartisan U.S. commission recommended the Bush administration launch new diplomatic initiatives with both Syria and Iran, something it has refused to do.
No where does any law state that the Speaker of the House can not visit a nation. She is within her role and guidelines. The only problem is that she is giving Bush the bird. This is not a rubber stamp congress and Nancy is making a loud statement that Bush and his henchmen does not scare her.
Since the NEOCON's are far to ignorant to admit their mistake then it needs to be shoved up there AZZ. - Reply to this comment
- Of course Pelosi is going to Syria, a country that the Bush administration will not engage " because of its ties to terrorist networks....". She, and the rest of the Democrats wish to kiss their a..es as well as kiss UP to the other terrorist-supporting countries because she & her political party have no gonads in which to fight them or engage them. They live in this dream world where they think "diplomacy" will take care of the problems [like "diplomacy" took care of Iraq, Iran, Syria, Mogadishu (sorry, my spelling is not correct)over the last 20 years].
The Democrats and the rest of the "left" are the biggest bunch of politically correct a.. kissers and stand for NOTHING but individual personal political gain. - Reply to this comment
- taddles on the one hand you talk about "king George and his single handed destruction of the constitution while on the other stating it's ok for QUEEN Pelosi a democrat to circumvent the democtratic process by ignoring the twice ELECTED president of the United States. You leftwing losers need to have it both ways or your twisted ideology wouldn't make any sense.
