Speaker Will Go To Country That Bush Administration Has Refused To Engage Diplomatically

Thanks, LiberalVet. Like Mark Twain said, "Patriotism is supporting your country all the time, and your government when it deserves it." - Reply to this comment

Actually it's a great story - the story that ISN'T told by the White House. They get all up in arms about Pelosi going, but conveniently fail to mention anything about the Republican travelling with her, or that a separate Republican delegation including Rep. Robert Aderholt (R-AL) Rep. Frank Wolf (R-VA) and staff are in Syria right now.
I think "hypocritical" fits pretty well here. Or just plain "stupid". - Reply to this comment

You are absolutely correct. The administrators of Walter Reed should be placed on trial for thier pizz poor handling of the treatment of our brave soldiers. Another failure of the Bush administration in a long list of them. - Reply to this comment
- It may be. She called me a coward for not serving - I actually tried signing up in '01 but was too old. After a couple minutes I stopped short, and asked her why she wasn't signing up if she was so dead-set on getting everyone else to go. And off she ran. It'd a lot more fun annoying her, if it weren't for the very real 3,200 deaths over there.

- This isn't a story...compared with the rat-infested wards at Walter Reed Hospital.
Compared with the lies the Republishit Party has been caught at during the last shameful years of this administration.
This is NO story at all. - Reply to this comment
- Pelosi should stay in Syria.
She has more in common with them than the USA

Oh you finally decided to show your face again...but as usual you have nothing to offer but the same trash...
Will you NEOCON supporters ever have an original thought beyond what FOX news and Bush feeds you????? - Reply to this comment

- Hey if more people like you, me, and all the other forward thinking people that post out here keep the pressure up things will have to change. I made the mistake of not caring in 2000. I now realize the errors I made then and refuse to stand by idoly and let the NEOCON jerks destroy what I fought for. I live in the deep south---Florida, and believe me I am the minority. But I am not quite any longer. I stand toe to toe with the hypocritical NEOCON Southern Baptists and give them he11. I just love to see them get red faced when I throw facts at them.

- Yeah they all sound the same person posting. All BS and no substance. I do not know if b48151 is the same person but the post coming form that person is just as dark and weak. I am still waiting for a reply back as to if he/she served anytime in uniform. That one seemed to have scared he/she off...LOL

- I read your posts over on "GOP gets its groove". Yeah, "Lars008" - another frickin' pseudonym from that woman, from HillaryIn08 to One_American, to crater7, etc.... She seems to change names every few days. But that tone. Always stays the same. My favorite is when she posts a comment, then posts under a different name, usually the "you go girl" thing.
You know what, I don't think it's too late at all. It's definitely an uphill battle for the next year or so, though. I figure all the folks announcing their candidacy so early is just another sign we all can't wait to boot Bush. - Reply to this comment

So true. America's once bright light has grown very dim over the past 6 and then some years. Countless lives lost for the profit of individuals who could care less for what America once stood for. I thank leaders like Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid for standing up to the NEOCON war wagon and fighting to bring America back from the depths of destuction. I jsut hope it is not too late . - Reply to this comment

Holding my own. Was allot better before 2000. But all of America can make that statement. I got a roof over my head and food on the table. A job and a happy family. To bad that many Americans can not say they have the same due to the needless and rampid spending and stealing of the national treasury this administration has committed. - Reply to this comment
