Once again proving that as far as the neocons are concerned, the ends justify the means.

Kerry was torpedoed personally because the neocons couldn't effectively attack his message. I, as an Independent, didn't think that Kerry was the best of candidates, but he did have a good platform.

Had he won in '04, the neocon agenda would have ended right then and there. So they mounted a smear campaign and eeked out a victory.

It only poetponed the inevitable. The neocon agenda will die on the vine in '08 anyway as none of the Repub candidates are embracing it. In fact, they are all busy distancing themselves from Bush and his agenda.

I sure agree with WeedHighBuck on his assesment. And the other thing that I thought was very "cheapening" and disrepectful towards people who have earned medals in combat was at the republican convention for bush in 2000 these a**holes give out fake purple hearts. And then the American people vote bush in again!! I was so astounded and completely disgusted when bush was voted in again.. Of course maye he really didn't win honestly... Nothing else about him is honest or honorable.
