Democratic Presidential Candidate Announces Wife's Cancer Is Back And Is Incurable
- "John Edwards: "The Campaign Goes On""
Is John looking for the sympathy vote?
Then he should have waited. LOL
Now Americans must think that John's family problems will divert his attention from the running of a country of 300 million people.
John needs to wait until the wifey is cured or dies before he makes his run. - Reply to this comment
- Stop your ranting, you God-forsaken liberals/communists/hypocrites/traitors/Islam apologists/pychos! If musty, or whoever the hell it was, wants to speak his mind about Commie Edwards, than let him do it. It's a free country. At least that's what you commies say...

- The Edwards family are a class act and this is a time to put politics politics aside and to pray for the Edwards family. Rush Limbaugh and Ann Coulter are the best agruments for upholding abortion rights - one is an Anti-American drug addict who missed his calling to lead the German Bund during World War II, and the other is a cross dressing drag queen who has the sophomoric wit of an empty headed blonde joke.

This, coming from a Kool-Aid drinking conservative. And I can see why you don't like John Edwards because he stands against the unabashed greed you represent. - Reply to this comment
- John and Elizabeth Edwards are strong, principled individuals, and also a great team. I first met them at an Iowa House Party in 2003, supported John in the Iowa Caucus in '04, and will do everything in my power to help him be in the right place on the ticket this time. This country needs their candor, and their courage. While today's news is sobering, I sense that it is giving them renewed commitment to the campaign.
I look for John to rise above the noise of Hilary & Obama, and through clear statements of how he would govern, make it clear that he is the one best prepared to do it! - Reply to this comment

- I don't care what all of the naysayers have to say about John Edwards and the Democratic Party. He and his wife and family have endured much over these past several years and have come through it stronger than ever. As the twin sister of a breast cancer survivor, I admire Mrs. Edward's courage in the face of this battle and I admire them both for moving forward with not only her disease but the campaign as well. I will vote for Mr. Edwards no matter what and will do everything in my power to help with his campaign and for the Democratic Party who will win the election in 2008! Mr. and Mrs. Edwards and family - my thoughts and prayers are with you always! Keep your chins up! From someone who understands.

- Edwards probably can't win the nomination; I don't think he can out fundraise or outshine Obama or Hillary (he needed to be the anti-Hillary to win, but Obama seems to be the owner of that title so far), but good for him for continuing in the face of adversity and best wishes to his wife, Republican or Democratic supporter of one of his opponents, that should be the message.

- That's right musty -- and, I bet you even believe what George W. Bush and his sycophants say.
Let's see: prosecutors were fired for job performance reasons, we've turned the corner in Iraq, the balooning deficit is not a problem, they love me in Latin America, you've done a heck of job Brownie, mission accomplished, we've found the WMDs...
Actually, what has this administration said recently that is true?
And, Rudy, McCain, and the others still give lip service to Bush...the worst American in history.
On the Bush side what do we see: petty name calling and no substance.
What do you want more years of Bushism?
When Edwards is President this country will be great again. He is a good man and will be an effective leader. - Reply to this comment
