in spite of all the damage bush has caused america,

they continue to love and support bush in the south.

they kicked bush's ******* cheerleading azz out of the north

but bush found a home in the south.

rednecks, white trash, phony evangelist creeps, republican snake war makers...

bush's kind of people.

yep, they still love bush in the south.

nothing good comes out of the south!

xg.....you are right. A failed war and a failed presidency does our country no good at all.... and right now we have both.

Having experienced both, in the not so long ago past, I find it just a little bit painful. History does seem to repeat itself, don't you think? Decade after decade, century after century and time and time again. Man is such a stupid critter!

If the Dems were really interested in learning the truth, why not simply meet with Rove & others behind closed doors.

The truth has never been of concern to them because it is as foreign to the Democrats as a training bra to Anna Nicole-RIP.

This is all about making a spectacle and a show out of nothing. Why testify under oath if there is no crime? Ask Scooter....

Like the neoCONs said as they were tearing up our Bill of Rights to allow warrantless wiretaps, "If you have nothing to hide then you shouldn't mind us looking, only guilty people need to worry" They sure look and sound guilty so far. If they have nothing to hide then what is the problem? Six of the eight were investigating GOP corruption? That could be the problem. That's called obstruction of justice. This is going to be real fun!

So their "generous offer" is no testimony under oath, no transcripts, no taping, closed doors, they pick who is in the room and the questions to be asked.

This is would be funny if it weren't so insulting to the intelligence of the American people.

xg - I agree, just trying to incite some Bush hater conspiracy theory chit chat, hearing them accuse our Prez of 'hiding' something...he's always 'hiding' something in their minds.

I sincerely doubt you can find one that hasn't hidden something from the folks of this country. The real shame of it all is that this is all nothing new.

Bush's dishonesty makes me gag! Offering to send Rove and other minions over to talk in private away from the cameras so as not to make a spectacle! Flagrant spin!!! Does he think the American people are stupid? This is the people's business. Firing ethical prosecutors in retaliation for not cooperating in White House attempts to influence the elections is repugnant...it flies in the face of what the Department of Justice should be doing. We should all be outraged...Republicans, too.

xg - just trying to figure out the conspiracy theory coming from those who suffer from Bush Derangement Syndrome...

Bad comparison. That said, obstruction of justice isn't quite the same a conspiracy to assassinate the president. I would dearly love to see the war won and the president succeed in doing the PEOPLE'S will. Neither a failed war nor a failed presidency does the COUNTRY a bit of good.

Thing is Steve, most prior Presidents have done the complete change-out. I suspect the next one will as well, Dem or Rep. I wouldn't fault either one. It is completely their option and privilege.

Hell, to prove a point, he should just pick about 10 more at random and fire them next week. But that won't happen.

Gonzales will probably end up leaving and we will spend the next couple of months finding an AG that the Democrats in congress feel sees things their way rather than the President's way.

What do you folks on the right think about the idea that if they have nothing to hide, why not just speak under oath?

Stay tuned Bush haters, if this goes the distance, you should have your answers in about 2-3 years...keep in mind, we still don't really know who killed Kennedy, right?
Posted by badaxmofo at 10:38 PM : Mar 22, 2007

This is neither funny nor appropriate. Assassination is a whole different subject than criminal prosecution. Totally inappropriate.

Progress Report:
Well after barely three months on the job the Democrats have racked up Rumsfield, Bolton, Libby, and Gonzalez' deputy. Gonzales is twisting in the wind and Domenici is lawyered up and going down. Halliburton is headed for the hills.(Dubai). Straight talk McCain is flip flopping and sinking like a rock with Dubya's war around his neck, while a cross-dressing playboy New York City mayor leads the Right wingers on the way to '08. Not too bad. You go Nancy!
