Attention all right-wing talking point inbreds: understand a simple fact. Administrations routinely appoint new prosecutors when they take over. Do not point out Clinton because George H. Bush, Ronald Reagan, etc. did the exact same thing. That's an accepted part of the change in administrations. They are once again manipulating your little minds with nonsense. The difference between that and what these guys did is night and day. They placed specific political pressure on the supposedly independent prosecutors to bring charges against Democrats and ignore cases against Republicans. Those who did not expedite cases for political purposes (Iglesias - who got phone calls from Dimenici & Wilson before getting fired) or who prosecuted cases against blatantly corrupt Republicans (Lam who convicted Duke Cunningham and got fired before she could indict Jerry Lewis). Not even similar in nature, these comparisons, and yet one more example of how you've been lied to so much you don't know why you're choking. I believe it must be the sand...pull your head out and breath.

Gonzales is a FASCIST.

The funny thing about Fascist America is who has the Power to stop it:

The ******* Elite.

All The Power Elite have to do is say,

"STOP THE WAR. STOP LORD BUSH FROM INVADING IRAN. DON'T START WW3. START REPORTING REAL NEWS IN THE MAINSTREAM MEDIA. BREAK UP THE CORPORATE MONOPOLIES. RESTORE DEMOCRACY".

But I know THAT will never happen.

Guess we're stuck with a Revolution or Civil War.

I pray the Bushie bootlicks continue to portray this as just, reasonable and ordinary business - and the American people will recognize the truth of it is only in the last part - lying, corruption and malfeasance ARE business as usual with this administration!

The real reason Alberto Gonzales has to go, is, Kattie Curric showed up early for an interview and walked in on him eating some children.

Who will Bush get to replace him? I hear Khieu Samphan, brother #5 of the Khmer Rouge is still alive. I doubt he'll be as good as Al, but hey with a motto of "To keep you is no benefit. To destroy you is no loss." ... sounds like he's a shoe-in.

Once again, it looks like another Bush appointed official, another of his "good buddies" that he "supports completely" is headed for the door. Every time Bush says he supports someone, they end up "resigning" within 2-3 days. If Bush had appointed someone who was qualified to do the job instead of all his idiot friends, maybe the "king" wouldn't have all the trouble he has, and the public wouldn't be as mad at him as they are.
About Gonzales, I'm glad to see another Bush incompetant out the door. Gonzales scared me as he acted and talked just like Heinrich Himmler; a mealy-mouthed weasel who did whatever Bush and Cheney wanted, no matter how illegal it was. Even if the Democrats in Congress can't end the war, they are helping to get rid of the trash Bush put in his cabinet.

If Alberto Gonzales goes, many economies of eastern Europe will colapse. And they just finished the 4 billion dollar Bibi's Torture Mall, added 6 new pirana tanks to the Polish Pirana and Boiling Oil Information Gathering Emporium, and finished the 10,000 square foot Golden Blood Fountains of Romania, LLC compound. I hope they can revive their prostitution and kiddie porn industrie, but it looks like Russia has filled that void.

The US Attorneys serve at the pleasure of the President - he can hire and fire them at will, so no such action is a matter of scandal, no matter what the circumstances are. Democratic complaints about this are akin to the "Tenure of Office Act" Congress tried to tack on to the Presidency in the 1860's - an attempt, that is, for Congress to decide when and if an Administration official should be removed. Such a thing is entirely unconstituitonal, but such trivia just doesn't bother our Democrats these days.

Powerline has an excellent run-down on the attorneys who have been fired, and none of them seem out of the ordinary...other than, as pointed out, a wonder why even more US Attorneys (including some Clinton holdovers) weren't removed a long time ago. Especially important to me is the fact that at least one US Attorney was canned for not vigorously attacking the problem of voter fraud - which gives us the real reason Democrats fear these turnovers: they are afraid that US Attorneys who prosecture voter fraud will eventually have most of the Democratic Party behind bars.

Now, as for Attorney General Gonzales - well, this event certainly wasn't handled with finesse, and it might be time to replace him just on that matter alone. In an atmosphere where the Democrats will call everything a scandal (and be supported in this by the lapdog media), any major Executive Branch move has to be done with extreme care.
