Attorney General Defends Removal Of 8 Prosecutors, But Takes Blame For How They Were Fired

The list of mistakes in the Department of Justice under Gonzales is many times longer than the list of correct decisions under the same man. Yesterday, it was the abuse of national security letters and exigency letters. Today it's firing US Attorneys who either didn't prosecute democrats when demanded by republicans and those who did prosecute the biggest republican crooks or have some of them in their sights.

Maybe he's trying so hard to please georgey so he can get a uniform like other generals with lots of braid and shiny things. It's not the quality of his legal reasoning. He turns "No Person Shall" into "only the 43rd president may."

President Bush is 50% ego, and 50% money. One of the fired attorneys, Carol Lam, prosecuted Republican Rep. Randy "Duke" Cunningham and helped a lot to cause Bush to lose control of the House and Senate. Now, with the Democrats in coltrol, he has to answer for his actions, and that doesn't help his ego. I'm glad they're making him answer for this too. The man should be led out of the White House in hand cuffs.

You need to tell the truth. When Clinton was in office he fired ALL the U.S. Attorneys. So, Bush only fired 9. What's the bid deal.

I think that it is time for all Americans of all parties to come together and and get rid of these people in Washington, i.e., Bush and all his evil cohorts.
